So, either one of two things happen here; Ward outboxes Saad, or Saad catches Ward late and puts him out. Which one?
Saad's Tooooooo LIMITED to Beat Andre Ward... Ward is Tooooooooooooo VERSATILE...He PLANTS his Feet & Trades when it's Beneficial & IN-FIGHTS Effectively,, On his Own Terms...In his Ammy Days, He Jabbed & Moved his Way to a Gold Medal, Against BIGGER Men, @ 178 Pounds...A High Stakes Game of TAG, Basically... There Wouldn't Be a Shitload of "WOW" Moments & Ward Likely NEVER Hurts Saad, but he'd OUTPOINT Him Pretty CLEARLY...Considering Wards Level of FOCUS, DISCIPLINE & MATURITY, He'd Be Prepared to Do What it Took to Beat Saad Over 12 OR 15... REED:up:
Be interesting to see how Ward reacts if Saad tagged him with something big. Dre has never faced anyone with Saad's power. I'm not completely sure if I'd pick Dre here. I don't know if he has enough pop to deter Saad, especially if it's a 15 rounder.
Ward Would Definitely have to AVOID Exchanges/Get HIS then Get OUT, to Win... But REED Thinks he COULD... REEDopcorn:
Spinks MURDERS Ward... vs. Spinks, Ward would have 2 Choices; RUN his Way to a SHAMEFUL 12/15-0 Defeat OR Eventually Get KO'ed, Trying to Put Up a Fight...Spinks BEATS Ward 11 Out of 10 Times... Pertaining to the Topic, Saad had POOR Defense, Wasn't RINGSMART or Terribly ATHLETIC...Those are Precisely the Reasons Why REED Sees Ward OUTPOINTING Saad...You've Got to Be a Bit MORE than just a "Blood & Guts" Guy, to BEAT Andre Ward, in REED's Opinion... REED:dancingBaby:
Spinks was a slow starter, and for that reason I could see Ward possibly ahead of him after 4 rounds. But once Mike got warmed, and started establishing his piston-like jab, Dre would be in a world of trouble. I think "The Jinx" lands, and sends Ward to ZZZZZZZZZZ inside of 8.
I'm quite confident in saying that all the top LHW's of the late 70's/early 80's would thrash the farmer. I'd pay to see Qawi-Froch the most though. Froch would cop a horrific beating.
