I saw it. Its kindof 'weird'... but definately entertaining. Worth the watch 7/10. Wouldnt be surprised to see it get much higher reviews but it just wasnt exactly my type of movie.

All I keep hearing about this movie is nothing less than 'must see' and 'movie of the year'.

    The reviews rate it highly:
    8.2/10 - IMDB
    94% - Rotten Tomatoes

And at the box office: US$160 million off a US$35 million budget

So why isn't anyone here raving about it?

Nah it only means we are selective with what we pay $14 for a movie ticket. Other films can wait until they get to Redbox.

Let me know what it's like Hut - I don't believe BOSS but I will say this movie looks the type that appeals to a specific 'nerd crowd' who glorify director Edgar Wright as some 'Movie God'.

As my opening post states: 'looks' good.

BOSS is it one of those 'style-over-substance' movies that relies on a great pop soundtrack?

Ya and the racing is neat but it's all just thrown together. I'm sure hipsters love it though. Maybe I'm too old

Just attempted to watch it and lasted 25 mins: hugely annoying style-over-substance movie with an equally insufferable and endless 'cool' pop-soul-rock soundtrack playing throughout and starring the most irritating & killable cunt-kid-actor ever.

    3/10

(for the car-chase in the opening 5mins)

Just finished watching it (IT IS ON YOUTUBE!!!) and enjoyed it immensely. It has a kind of cool innocent vibe within a very violent setting which reminded me a little of 'True Romance' not in the plot sense but on what I described ea rlier. Good performances by all the main characters. Jamie Fox is bad muthafacka in this film. Eiza Gonzalez is smokinh hot crazy whacko. Kudos to director/writer Edgar Wright who finally achieved a critical & box office winner. Makes me wonder what he could have done with ANT-MAN. I hope Marvel or DC lets him do one of their films since this one is a real crowd pleaser. 8.5/10

Action sequences are fantastic, interesting, and slightly original.

Rest of movie was somewhat meh......, and I'm an Edgar Wright fan.

A little try-hardy, dialogue was not great and the romantic subplot was the pits. Ending was a total cop-out.

Best non-action performance was likely Kevin Spacey.

7/10 mostly for the action sequences.

Baby Driver was a good movie. Not great or anything, but it was solid and entertaining. 7/10
