[The fight appeared to be dominated by Funeka but the decision was a draw]. The A intends to take steps to address these types of situations. The A shall institute an evaluation and rating system of judges and referees. All officials will be reviewed for competency and integrity. Officials that are found to be incompetent will be addressed. Should there ever be an instance of corruption, we will seek to have that official banned. In short, the credibility of our sport must be maintained and the A is establishing a Committee to start the process to monitor officials. Every sport occasionally has bad officiating and boxing will now have the A to monitor and try to correct any blatant instances. My question is does the A really have any real power to see these changes through? Will this really make a difference? Regardless I applaud the effort. </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
stroke stroke stroke Until you see how a plan is going to be implemented, it's wise to assume that there is no plan and that someone is just talking shit to get noticed. Much like when politicians talk about 'change'...
There should be a government agency to deal with that bullshit. And there should be global rules for boxing, and clearly defined guidelines that the judges should follow to score fights.
