I'd take most versions of Oscar to beat Canelo, arguably even the one that showed up against Floyd as well. I think Canelo beats the Oscar that fought Forbes and Pacquiao, though. Not a landslide or anything, but certainly his best chance at a win (or being competitive)
Yeah, pretty much. Although the Oscar that fought Pacquiao wouldn't apply since Oscar killed himself to make 147
Sure you will. But not against a better fighter than himself. And sadly for the Ginger, there's COUNTLESS fighters in history better than him. Open a thread of Canelo versus an inferior fighter, and I'll pick him.
The De La Hoya that beat Vargas gives the Ginger a good walloping. Oscar is too fast with too good of a jab and Canelo would not likely be able to put on him on the defensive since he's too much of a spurt fighter. I think Oscar cuts him up and forces a late rounds stoppage.
Oscar beats him handily. He was just a considerably better fighter. As said before, you probably have to go to 2008 DLH for Canelo to beat him.
