It's round 9 of 10 and Frampton looks like a shot fighter as the 100-1 underdog Garcia could win this match

If Garcia has won five rounds he wins the fight since he has a KD

Why would Frampton be shot??? Guys is barely 30 and I don't recall him taking a lot of punishment

That's what I thought but clearly not championship level anymore (for whatever reasons)

I have to agree with both Dog and Jesus.

He did look shottish, and that's coming from someone who doesn't like the way the word gets bandied around like nobody's business, when it's really not true.

In this case though, yeah, he just doesn't look the same. Looks weak and vulnerable and just not that sharp or good.

Why is anyone's guess - like Jesus said he's barely out of his 20's and he's only had like 25 fights or so, and taken very little punishment.

I guess people are just weird like that, and age very randomly. We're used to people staying young for a long time these days I guess.

This is true: being 'shot' doesn't necessarily mean from amount of punishment taken during fights...however he is 30 now.

Well that's the thing - 30 being old is a thing of the past. Think about modern era elite fighters. Almost all of them over 30. Floyd, Pacquiao, Marquez - all elite fighters till pushing 40. Lomachenko is almost 30, Gondo is 37, Crawford is 30, Wangek is 30, Golovkin is 35.

Even MMA too, most elite fighters are over 30, Werdum is 40 ffs.
