Margot Robbie will be a household name once this film becomes a huge hit IF they don't make it into another stinker like Suicide Squad or BvS:DOJ.
    Mark my words.

And leave my in-house resident feminazi out of this topic! :pan:

So, DC are all of sudden going to find a magic formula to make someone called Harley Quinn a major comic-book character to bring DC into the game?

As much chance of that happening as you getting to 1st Base with some make-believe 20 year old waitress....

I'll give you that they were dramas, action/dramas. As for Bale being great, I'd have to disagree. The best I can give Bale's Batman/Bruce Wayne performances were they weren't bad.

Bale is such an average fuck that anything in Batman he did great probably had more to do with the script and story than with his performance. Legler, he was great, I can quote tons of lines from his character. What line has Bale uttered with any charisma that you can remember? Nothing, the guy has no charisma no character, he's just up there reading his lines in monotone with the occasional stupid yell of his thrown in. Even his John Carter in Terminator Salvation was a boring fuck.

Bale's Bruce Wayne/Batman was True to the SPIRIT of the Original Comic...No Other Actor Came as CLOSE as Bale Did, Portraying WHO/WHAT Wayne/Batman Really was; a SULLEN, Perpetually SADDENED Vigilante...

But in Terms of Charisma in Bale, Look Noooooooooooo Fuuuuurther than "American Psycho"...REED Heard of the Film, but it was NATHAN Like he Expected it to Be...

Bale Takes himself Toooooooooooo SERIOUSLY @ Times, but he's a QUALITY Actor...

ANY movie has a chance of being entertaining if the right script is matched with the right director and right actors. Margot Robbie did a decent job and was accepted by fans of the character. If DC can put together a good script with a competent director, they will have a surefire hit in their hands.

DC needs to stop making movies about fringe characters (Suicide Squad) and give THIS household character her own movie!

I agree he's a quality actor, just not a charismatic one. Also I hated that American Psycho film. I know lots of people really liked it, but I just didn't get it.

Linda Carter was bloody sexy. I loved her "too bad" (as they say in Trinidad). Her and Jaclyn Smith were two of my biggest crushes from the 70s/80s.

But too much misplaced hate is directed to this new wonder woman, methinks. She may not be curvy but she's very cute.

Pretty Girl, but Waaaaaaaaaaaay OUT of her League as Wonder Woman, Visually Speaking...REED's Said as Much the Moment She Got the Role...

Granted, There was NATHAN Athletic About Lynda Carter's Body, Nor would She BELIEVABLE Today, as an Ass Kicking Female, but The Dark Haired Scarlett Johaanson, from the "Avengers" Films, was a LOT Closer to the Requisite Body Type...

    Athletic, yet VERY Feminine...

I share the same opinion. Farrah had a great smile and exotic hairstyle, but was way too skinny for my taste. Jacklyn Smith on the other hand...oh boy, did I fantasied with that brunette in my teen years!:hump:

Yeah, I'd have Smith over Fawcett every day of the week. I think fawcettt got more attention because it's a blonde thing.

Scarlett's body with this Gadot's face would be the perfect Wonder Woman.

    OUR BRAND IS IN CRISIS...AGAIN!!

WB recently did test screenings for both Wonder Woman and Justice League and according to one leaked anonymous viewer both films have the same problems previous DC films had, and noted that WW suffered from some narrative and cut (editing) problems, but was 'good if not great'. On the other hand Justice League is a 'salvageable mess'

That's marvel trying to be a little "edgy" and cater for the modern audience. First they removed Thor's helmet and now his mane. Next his hammer....

Thor 2 sucked. Don't have much hope for part 3. The original was a nice surprise due to the humor but overall subpar. He's just not a compelling character, though I like the actor's portrayal.

Strangely enough I loved both Thor films....first one moreso. They weren't "great" films by any stretch but I love the whole Asgard world; rainbow bridge...blah blah...and Loki and Odin are kick ass characters...Loki being the best single character in the entire MCU (Honorable mention to Black Panther).

Therefore I absolutely can't wait for Thor Ragnarok.
