    Boxing might never recover if Conor beats Floyd, not in the US at least. It'll be seen as a joke for a LONG TIME to come, and it'll be close to impossible to build another mainstream star in the states.

    For that reason... I'd be pretty fucking disappointed if Floyd loses, and my dislike for him would turn into a deep hatred for the fact that he effectively killed the sport between losing to McGregor, and the Pac fight.

    mma is already viewed more favorably. That's why more people pay to see mma in ppv than boxing annually. I don't think it changes anything. Only the hardcore boxing and mma fans think a boxer beats an mma guy in boxing and mma beats boxer in mma. The casuals don't believe that shit or even think about it. That is why this fight is going to be the biggest combat sports event in history. Because of so called fans that don't know shit.
