My choice for years had been Norwood-Gainer, until I saw Lazarte-Solis 1. I recently watched the whole fight, not only should Lazarte been DQ'd, but he should have lost handily on points. Not that Solis did much, but mostly Lazarte just backed up, eating jabs and other shots there and there, and lunging forward with wild fouls.

Not too surprised. Argentina is probably the most corrupted place in the world when it comes to boxing

Pac vs. Agapito Sanchez, Bowe vs Golota I & II and Duran vs. Moore were the 1st that Sprung to Mind...

Duran moore wasn't that bad. Except for the thumb (which might have been an accident), and a few rough and tumble moves, I don't rebember it being that dirty of a fight

No Way in Hell was the Thumb an Accident...Duran's Thumb COULDN'T Have Been Any More Extended Than it Was...Duran Also LACED the Fuck Out of Moore...

To Be Clear, Duran STILL Would've Beaten Moore, but it was a NASTY, BRUTAL Performance...

Argentina boxing has scoring that is more honest than anywhere else I can think of. They have undefeateds getting beaten by guys with lame records all the time. It's like mma where the records are basically dismissed in scoring.

blah blah blah Coggie Gonzalez. Name some more.

Oh, and watch some Yo Ram Choi if you want to see a dirty fucker get away with dirty fighting. I can't remember the exact fight, but he got away with more headbutting that is imaginable.

I'd have to say Mares - Agbeko is up there, partly because of the absolutely disgusting in the pocket ref that not only let Mares get away with countless blatant low blows, but even gave Agbeko a fucking count for one of them. That was a sickening display, and made me want to see Mora and Mares get knocked out cold.

Interesting that Resto/Collins was same card as Duran/Moore

Resto - Collins was the first fight I thought about.

Not only had padding been removed from Resto's gloves, but his wraps had also been soaked in plaster paris.

With his doctored gloves, all Resto needed was pitty-pat jabs to turn Collins' face into a deformed mess. If you watch in the corner, Lewis repeatedly orders Resto to throw pitty-pat jabs.

    Randy Carver vs. Kabary Salem

Carver was essentially head-butted to death by Salem. I won't watch it again, but I remember the announcers basically accusing Carver of quitting the fight near the end, as his brain was giving out on him.

You should watch some fights instead of always relying on boxrec

LOL. That's what you're going to go with? A nonsensical supposition?

How about you name some examples of Argentina "corruption", instead of relying on a fight from 20 years ago and thinking it's dispositive of anything.

Pedroza VS LaPorte was horrendous... he must've punched Juan in the balls 50 times and butted him another 40
