If Disney ends up buying most of Fox entertaining branch that will mean Deadpool, X-Men, etc going back to Marvel!! Can you imagine an Avengers vs X-Men showdown with Deadpool tossing the jokes and Fantastic Four caught in the middle! Sounds like a mess! an epic mess I want to watch!
Wow. I don't know from where you deducted that this is ALL that interests me. Are you psychic too besides being a polished asshole?
Speaking of Disney: Critics groups disqualify Disney films from awards considerations and refuse to write reviews for Disney films until the Mouse company lifts a ban it put on LA Times due to a story they ran that Disney has called 'biased, inaccurate and highly politicized'. Many critics did not reviewed 'Thor: Ragnarok' until it actually opened to the public (and we know how that hurt its box office LOL) Isn't it nice to see liberals fighting each other over Fake News? Critics Groups Disqualify Disney Films Over Los Angeles Times Ban
Superhero movies to you are like Twilight movies to girls. When's Silver Surfer and Sub-Mariner getting their movies or appearances...?
Well, to be fair, FOX has done complete shit with their Marvel properties while Disney keeps delivering quality films. I don't mind at all Disney buying out their film division.
Because the films you like, DC, keeps chugging out subpar productions. Early reactions to "Justice League" is a mixed bag right now, which isn't very optimistic.
Disney and Fox getting close to a deal that could be finalized by next week! Disney is offering $60 billion to acquire Fox entertainment division which includes films and tv (including ESPN and other sports outlets). Not included in the deal is FOX News and FOX Network, but they will get a share from the Disney buyout assets. Disney's latest proposal to Fox is a big bet on local TV sports -- and ESPN
word. At least three of the X men films have been class though...but yes I think Marvel would have done a better job...and would have found a way for them to keep their original uniforms and still look believable on screen. With Marvel we would have also seen Cyclops as the team leader, as he was in the comics.
DONE DEAL!! Disney acquired 21 Century Fox Entertainment division at the tune of $52 billion. Only FOX News, Fox Bussiness were not part of the deal and thankfully will remain independent (Can you imagine Fox News replacing Hannity with Al Franken?) Immediately, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) went to Disneyland to celebrate...only to be escorted out of the park for inappropriate behavior. The Simpsons welcomed Mickey Mouse... and the ALIEN xenomorphs will be a Disney Princess or their pets?
Now that Disney owns xmen it should fire Bryan Singer forthwith and scrap that upcoming project and replace with one of its own
Nobody beats Disney in the negotiation table. Always gets what it wants cheaper than originally offered. They didn't want FOX News anyway...
Bryan Singer had only one X-Men turkey out of 4. And X-Men: Apocalypse suffered because it was being filmed while Singer was going through the gay-pedo charges allegations. He wasn't 100% concentrated on the film...which is happening again now! LOL
Well they better sell it, either to Disney or somebody because Netflix’s worth is probably about to seriously drop. Disney is going to pull all the Fox content off of Netflix and once Disney drops its own streaming service both Netflix and Amazon will be forgotten and likely lose millions and possibly even go bankrupt. This is especially bad for Netflix as they’ve reportedly already invested billions of unrecoupped money into future endeavors. Perhaps Netflix can can find success by continuing to invest in the mostly untapped stand up comedy market but I suspect rough waters ahead for them and especially Amazon.
