It's been mentioned before but Junior's best punch is the uppercut he throws. Put this guy down in the 1st with it. Solid left to get the job done. I want to see him fight Groves.

He's lucky he has his father's chin because Junior is still wild and reckless when he lets his hands go the way he does. So far, he's looked good against tailor-made opposition: guys who have slow feet and one-dimensional.

Eubank is good. Shame he's such a cunt.

Why is he a cunt? I know he looks really smug and arrogant, but in interviews he seems alright.

I think he lacks a bit of charisma and personality. He's developing in to a good fighter though.

He's definitely a hooker. His straight punches don't have much on them, but he has good hooks and uppercuts, good torque on them.

Surprising how different he is to his dad. Eubank was more of a long range pot shotter, and Jr is more a mid to close range fighter.

There's the obvious smugness, then there was the whole shit with Golovkin where he lost his bottle as well as his pen, but proceeded to chat shit after GGG-Brook was signed. Then there was the cringe worthy bollocks he was spouting after winning the IBO belt against some Aussie bum, and how he proved he was a real world champion etc. Embarrassing.

Still, the guy IS good, not gonna deny that. Chunky still beats him.

Ah yeah shit I forgot all that bidness with Golovkin. That was lame and embarrassing.

Eubs Jr would batter chunky though, let's be real Slicey.

Let's be real, Junior looked good against a guy he was expected to look good against. Don't get me wrong, he's got a lot to like about him, but he's no world beater just yet. Let's not forget that he struggled against BJS - a guy who isn't a plodder with slow feet.

I'm still not convinced Junior does a job on Groves. Next week may change my mind, though.

It's a shame Rainmaker is no longer here, I'd ask him why Turkish fighters suck so fucking bad.

What level? :D DeGayle couldn't even beat Ginger Groves.

Eubank is going to beat Groves up.

Eubank's best win is Ancient Arthur Abraham. Groves is also better than BJ Saunders.

That was a wild ending. Like how Eubank took risk to take the bum out rather than out boxing him easily as looked likely

    That was a wicked combo.

Seems like some fighters can never get it right, either they are sloppy and reckless or safe-playing pussies but I thought that was cool. Eubank had enough confidence to go toe to toe and he came out on top against the guy who was slow as molasses.

    I am a fan

I'd like to see if Junior is as willing to engage against a big puncher. As yet, he's fought no one that can punch. Groves may be on the decline, but he can certainly punch and although Junior's chin is solid, he won't want to ship too many big shots in that one.

Should he be willing to slug it out against a big puncher though? He did it here as his opponent was much slower. I'd imagine he will rather use his speed and wheels against bigger punchers

Eubank Jr. looks really good. Potentially, the first son of a famous fighter to surpass his fat her.

If he believes in his power and chin like he has said he does, he may do so. Looking at the Groves matchup, it all points to a Eubank win. He may have the speed and feet, but I notice when he throws his jab, he doesn't protect his chin and I can see Groves consistently landing clean, hard counters. I think Eubank may decide to jump on Groves early and aim to make a statement.

Don't know. Groves has been on the decline tbh, ever since he lost to Froch. He's 29 but looks about 39.

Both true. However, I'd pick Eubs Jr in a rematch, and I'd also pick him over both DeGale and Groves.

Good point. If he played it safe, people would be calling him a bitch.

It seems all the scrubby Turk had was a bit of pop, so I was impressed he completely went for it and took him out.

    He is still here.
But just a cursory glance at his randomly insane posts in the Movies or Fracture forums will shoe you how utterly crazy he is now...
