    Anyone seen this remake yet of the classic from 1985?

    I might go check it out but not sure yet. Won't have a patch on the original film starring Chris Sarandon and William Ragsdale.

    i thought it was utterly entertaining. David Tennant was good. Farrell, the Socal Network Kid, McLovin... good cast for a movie of this sort. i would recommend, but also keep in mind i seem to have different tastes/opinions in movies than basically everyone on this site.

    It was okay to pretty good, but not better than the original. Maybe a 6/10.

    I thought it was really good. It's always hard for a remake to beat an original movie, but this was pretty close in my opinion. Neither movie is likely to make a top ten of all-time horror movies, but it was good campy fun.

    Being a remake, I was surprised at how good this movie was, so I went back and watched the original - didn't like it.
