For Triple G's Sake, REED HOPES the Flat Fee of 15mil is STILL On the Table...Canelo-Chavez Jr. will Do 500,000 Buys Minimum and that Fee Might Dwindle to 12.5mil...

Agree with all points about merchant - good to have a guy who said what the viewers were thinking but also that he became more and more jaded. Hbo needs a 'new merchant'.

They'll never ever be amother Merchant at HBO. Larry was old school. He came from the non-sugar coat era.

This is the era of cheerleaders, and company shills.

Even if there WAS another Merchant out there, HBO wouldn't hire him. They don't want a guy lIke Larry anymore. They love Jim and Max pushing their propaganda.

word. I miss Merchant. He offset Lampley's sensationalism well and paired with him better than Max. Kellerman is talented though.

Roy Jones makes good comments...but he's a bit too Manny Stewart at times : "This fight went exactly as I expected it to" and that irritates the hell out of me.

If Manny was on the broadcast for Tyson-Douglas he would have claimed it went how he expected.

Merchant sucked. Sure, he had some good moments and good lines, but overall he was shit. Stupidly negative just to be negative. Didn't do his homework on fights until the 00's.

atlas has some insight into the mechanics of the game but then he always comes back to his same theme for EVERY fight. geography. on top of that he always wants to get outraged and get on the soapbox for a national commission.

Do You NOT Think a National Commission Would Help to REGULATE the Patently Unregulated World of Boxing???...

It'll NEVER Happen, so Yeah, it's a "Pipedream" in that Sense...But w/a NATIONAL Commission, Boxing Fans Would Get the Fights they WANT, More Frequently...

FEWER Sanctioning Body Agenda's, FEWER Promoter's Looking to MILK the "O" of their Prized Pugilistic Possessions...

Corruption Can Never Be COMPLETELY Removed from Any Facet of Life, but There'd Be LESS Of it, w/a National Boxing Commission...

The problem with atlas is he tells it like it is then keeps on telling it once every 45 seconds or so.
