Nah fuck Ortiz winning. You all know you want to see AJ-Wilder. It's the biggest fight to make in the division. And fuck Fury for now. He's irrelevant until he shows us otherwise.

If Wilder loses to Ortiz, we can pretty much kiss goodbye to AJ-Wilder. I'm actually rooting for him to beat Ortiz.

I don't want to end up asking myself "what if" AJ and Wilder had fought, what would have happened. I want to see the damn fight.

No matter what you think of both guys, you know the build up will be epic. We'll all be buzzing looking forward to it.

Yeah, Wilder should show Tyson some respect.

Pretty easy to talk shit about a 51 year old man who has been retired for 13 years.

Young Mike would catch Wilder on the street and Mitch Green his bama ass.

I’ve been thinking about this fight (I’m more excited for it than for Joshua parker ) and now I’m not torn anymore, I’m convinced. Ortiz is going to knock wilder out! 9th round

Let’s not lose sight of this. Fight is happening in a couple weeks.

Wilder will be beaten up and broken down.

One can only hope, but I'm still not seeing it.

I see the old Cuban walking into a bomb that flattens him.

The way I see it, Wilder only has a puncher's chance....but my instincts tell me that Ortiz has a solid chin (perhaps it's the shape of his face and the fact that he's Cuban) and so I don't see Ortiz being knocked out.

Casamayor had a very solid chin in his prime. But you are correct on the other three, especially glass chinned Gamboa.

Fair enough. I was primarily thinking of Casamayor and a few others.

Well, do you have Kid Gavilan, who had one of the best chins of all time.

Wilder's power is EXTREMELY overrated. Wlad definitely punched much harder.

I seem to be the only one who is excited about this fight.

Very shocked by this. I think it's a highly intriguing fight.

I'm excited, but not super excited. I won't lie, in the post Tyson/Lewis/Holy era.... it's hard to get SUPER excited for heavyweight fights. These bums of today can't compare.

Even for AJ-Wilder... I'll be excited, but would I be AS excited as for say... Spence-Crawford? Fuck no!

Heavyweights just don't do it for me anymore... but I am mildly excited.

I expect Beyonce to stop Ortiz within 6.

Beyonce truly has no fans and no American support. I'm hearing that ticket sales for this fight have been horrible. Nobody gives a shit about this windmilling loudmouth.

This scrub is fucking delusional if he thinks he has any leverage over AJ. The ONLY logical location for AJ-Wilder is the UK.

I'm more excited for the Lara-Hurd fight next month than I am about these heavyweight scrubs.

I'm eagerly anticipating this fight. What's not to be excited about? Wilder has a higher KO% at this stage of his career than even a prime Mike Tyson and Ortiz has an impressive KO ratio as well. Both are undefeated. Outcome is in doubt. Wilder has a loud mouth, Ortiz is super confident (but quieter with it). Two big men, each undefeated, each powerful, each promising a KO and the fight is for a Heavyweight title. Most of the talk around here this week should be about this one.

I can’t see how Ortiz does not counter Wilder’s whiffs at will.

For a flack Mike used to get about his prime opposition, Mike's opponents were 50 light years better than the cans and no hopers Wilder has faught. In fact, Mike beat better fighters than Wilder himself!

Wilder has to be on drugs calling out Tyson's opposition and not putting the same microscope on his own.

I really want Ortiz to hospitalize this fool.

I just can't help but think that the old Cuban is just less fast/sharp than he was a few years ago, and will get caught by a Beyonce bomb that stops him. Hope like fuckin Hell I'm wrong.

Mike doesn't give a shit about Wilder. Why should an all time great care about the opinion of a scrub?

Wilder said those things because he WANTS a reaction from Tyson, because it's the only way this bum can get his name in the news.

Tyson has taken the high ground and not even dignified Wilder's statements with much of a response.

Mike and Lewis both think Wilder is a clown.
