IN A VALLEY OF VIOLENCE WESTERN/Drama PREMISE - A recent western starring Ethan Hawk and John Travolta. Hawk is a runaway soldier who comes to a new town just him and his beloved dog. He gets into it with 4 guys who kill his dog and leave him for dead. He goes out for revenge on the men who wronged him. CRTIQUE - Although this wasn’t the strongest script in the world I did enjoy it. The acting was top notch with nobody here mailing in their performance. Hawk who I’m not a big fan of was good but I thought Travolta really shinned in this one. It’s no Unforgiven but if you ever catch it on, it’s a solid movie that’s worth a look. SCORE - 6.5/10
