Or is he speculating what many of us have always believed... that homo cage fighting is a fad, and that the sweet science will always be the top combat sport.

Maybe White sees that there's more money in building a boxing star than a MMGay star.

I wouldn't be surprised if he slowly begins to work his way towards boxing and away from MMA. Boxing has more upside at the moment.

MMA has lost its appeal as a sport. Now it's all about the stars, just like boxing is, and the UFC just have themselves to blame. Watered-down cards, shameful hyping of undeserving fighters, cards littered with bitch fights, money fights and mismatches. By focusing too much on short term gain they lost sight of what made it popular in the first place, cards stacked with names in competitive fights. Nowadays, you're lucky if you find that even the main event is

And yet, a cursory glance at last week's event says otherwise:

Last week card was (mainly) great. Still, nitpicking one card out of 40+ over the year doesn't make my argument invalid. And even GSP-Bisping is a case of the UFC favoring a "money fight" over the champion facing the best challenger available (clearly Robert Whitaker).

Even w/Last Week's STELLAR Card, There's No Other Way to Characterize 2017 for UFC than "Shitty"...

REED Thinks UFC's gREED is to Blame, More than Anything Else...

Had Conor McGregor BEEN Making the Money he Deserved, the Mayweather Fight NEVER Happens...And Instead of THE Biggest Star in MMA History Neglecting his Profession ALTOGETHER in 2017, he'd Have Actually Entered an Octagon a Time or 2 This Year...

There was Really NO Upside to McGregor Squaring Off w/Floyd in a Boxing Ring, Aside from Conor's Bank Account...Wasn't Good for UFC @ All...But Again, Had UFC Not Specialized in Short Changing Fighters and Clinging to "Undisclosed Bonuses" and Other Bullshit, Conor NEVER Steps Foot in a Boxing Ring...

The Handling of Ronda Rousey was Headscratching Too...Sooooooooooooooooon as She Signed the Contract to Face Amanda Nunes, REED KNEW Ronda was TOAST...@ the Very Least, UFC Should've Milked a Comeback Fight or 2, Against "Gimme" Opponents...Let Ronda Look Good, Regain Some Confidence THEN Challenge for the Title...

This Shitty Year Hasn't ALL Been UFC's Fault Though...Jon Jones is the Greatest FUCK UP in the History of Sports...And ALL he Offers in Response is "It Wasn't Me" Bullshit...

REED's Not a Doom and Gloom Guy Though and it's NOT as if UFC is On Life Support, Despite a Poor Year...The Middleweight Division is Deeeeeeeeeeeep and Playing Hot Potato with the Championship Belt...GSP is a Certified Star Who Makes 185 OR 170 Interesting...

If/When Conor Gets Back to MMA, 155's an Intriguing Division...T. J. Dillashaw Moving Down to Face Demetrious Johnson is a LEGIT MMA Superfight...Rose Namajunas just MIGHT have What it Takes to Surpass Rousey and Joanna in Terms of Female DOMINANCE...

Shit Year for Certain, but it'd Be FOOLISH to Completely Write Off UFC...

Oh let’s not pretend boxing doesn’t have a history of taking money fights over deserving or contender ranked challengers. The UFC isn’t doing anything different than boxing would do in the same situation. In fact I’d even argue boxing might now go and has gone a bit more out of its way to protect some its overrated champions.

If anything the UFC should probably be criticized for not milking more money out of its superstars before so quickly setting them up to fight their biggest possible test that the fans are clamoring for. In other words there is no way UFC allows the fuck-up that boxing did where Floyd and Paquiao fight each after their prime years. I’m a bigger fan of boxing than I am of the UFC but facts -as always- are facts.

I hate that the UFC had a monopoly and fucked so many fighters to get where they are.

But, their product is sound, their product is accessible, their product is the boss. It appeals to younger people and girls in a way that boxing probably never has. Certainly, not in my lifetime other than maybe guys like Tyson, Foreman, and Oscar.

Let's not beat around this fact - UFC appeals to young, WHITE males.

Boxing is still the more popular sport among blacks & Latinos.

It's a matter of time before a queer fighter is performing a rear naked choke while sporting a solid erection. Imagine the loser of that fight....choked to submission while having a rock hard dick pressed up against his ass. Double Jeopardy.

You know it's a matter of time before a queer fighter (because there must be some statistically) has an erection while rolling around on the canvas with his dick pressed up against a fat hairy ass. lolol
