I agree, but even though Freitas went a little further with his career (to this point, since Katsidis remains active) & beat, in Joel Casamayor, a fighter of too high a calibre for Katsidis to equal (in fact, it was a young Casamayor Freitas defeated, whereas an ageing one got the best of Katsidis --- though I do feel Katsidis would've won an immediate rematch with the old Casamayor), the fact is Freitas had seen better days at 130lbs. by the time he hit Lightweight, & he showed against Corrales an inability to handle the heavier hitters. Corrales was a damn sight better than Katsidis, but Freitas isn't the most elusive target. I think Katsidis lands enough & hurts him enough for a final-round stoppage in a fairly-competitive fight. Freitas is a puncher at any weight, & though not glass-jawed, Katsidis is chinny, for mine.
as much as I hate the guy, Frietas was a better fighter in pretty much every respect than Katsidis, with the exception of courage. But sometimes, courage is not enough
