Brook really shouldn't struggle at all against this guy.

    :truce:

This Galarza guy looks poo. He throws wildly, slowly and not very accurately.

Yeah, clearly just a showcase for Brook. I'd have NO objections as long as he didn't take 5-6 months to recover from it before fighting again. Which he probably will. Which is a large part of why modern boxing is mushy stool.

Yeah man, he telegraphs like hell and his balance gets way overextended on shots. Brook will take him out sharp.

What's his record? 30-0 at least right? And he's fought NO ONE. Fuck Brook man, I hope he loses.

The number of fights doesn't mean anything to me in itself, only the chronological speed they get progressed. I'd actually sooner Brook had FIFTY fights aged 25 on the cusp of world class, that wouldn't count against him for me at all. But he fights 7 times in 3 years so every fight counts.....he basically seems to be going nowhere :dunno:

Brook as potential but he has completely wasted his entire career to date. To be this far down the line and having fought absolutely no-one of note is a disgrace.

Not really a surprise, he's an Ingle fighter isn't he?

He thinks he can ride the same overprotected hype train as the little Space Monkey.

I was a judge for some of Galarza's fights and even briefly managed him out here, for the sake of getting him back in the ring.

When I first heard the announcement, I thought it was a mistake and that Brook was actually facing Kenny Galarza (PR welterweight from Florida).

Luis is a nice kid, and pulled off a minor upset in beating Delgado. The win was redemption, since Delgado screwed him over months prior by coming in nearly a division over the contracted weight and then sending him home w/o a fight or payday. So in that regard, was glad to see Luis get the win and against a guy coming off of a title shot (even if Delgado was undeserving and is just a club fighter himself).

All that said, Brook being on the cusp of a title shot should really be facing bigger game. He just came off of the win v. Jackawicz (sp?) and should be fighting on that level or higher.
