Very impressive. He managed to stop his dangerous foe too, probably in large part due to his "left-right-left triple". I think his "left-right-left triple" gives him a great shot against Martinez. Seriously though, what the FUCK is a guy ranked #1 by the WBO doing fighting an opponent who is 1-3. One and three! I mean jesus, 4 fights and only 1 win :: Also what is up with the fightnews writers? They have a guy covering British boxing who can barely speak English. What are they going to do next, hire Romanian gypsies to cover fights in the US?
Thta show had soem entertainment value. Good performance by Nathan Cleverly, who I think will compete at the world level. Than the corner of the Mitchell opponent, put so much vaseline on the dude, he turned from Blacko to Jacko within seconds. And finally the heavyweight Chiasora took a serious bite at the ear of his opponent, not seen since the days of Iron Bite.:doh:
I like Cleverly....in such a weak division, i think he is more than capable of breaking into the world top 10, Mitchell inevitable bubble burst has taken too long for my liking....they have proper dragged it out.....frankly, he was in a blood and guts war with Carl Johannson, who isn't bad....but has been blown out before by fairly mediocre fighters...Mitchell really struggled. He's got the Froch thing going on....he holds his hands low, but his reflexes aren't as quick as he thinks they are, and he'll be exposed for this at a higher level......but like Froch, he's got heart, a sturdy chin, and heavy hands.
Mitchell was very impressive in his comeback fight. I like this guy a lot and I think he can do a number on Martinez
