Anyone paying attention to whats going on? I guess King filed a last minute injunction against the Mayorga/Din Thomas fight and the juge ordered in favor of Don King that the fight can not go on. However, Shine Fights sas "fuck it!" and is going on with the fight anyways! Lol this is hilarious. I wonder how it will all play out.

Watch they will pull Mayorga off the card but without Mayorga they got nothing so what do you do? Cancel the whole thing?

I hope it still goes on. This should have been ironed out weeks ago.

It would be great if this got changed to a boxing match only at the last minute ala Mercer vs Sylvia.

Mayorga off the card. Good riddance. It was a freakshow anyways.

If King invested the same amount of money into the show and negotiated himself co-promoter, this event could have been decent.

this actually could have been a great promotional night for boxing especially if Mayorga came away with a KO. Once again boxing can't get out of its own way.

Don King is 80 and barely relevant in boxing anymore. This has more to do with his passion for money and fucking over his fighters.

I doubt at this stage of his life he really gives a rats ass about MMA.

It shows how stupid MMA is. Shine openly laughed about King shutting down their promotion for weeks. Idiots should have read the fine print of Mayorgas contract.

:dunno: Don King is a BILLIONAIRE. I guess his 30+ years of promoting some of the biggest fights in boxing history while ripping off fighters pales in comparison to the 5 year run that finally pulled the UFC out of the financial hole it was in.

BTW, Mayorga has made more money in his career than any UFC fighter has(from purses alone).

The Fertitta's are billionaires as well. So you can also say that The UFC could buy Don King Productions if they wanted to.

Probably. If he doesn't have the cash to do so, I'm sure he could get the credit.

Not sure what any of this has to do with anything though.

Bullshit. Don King is worth at most 290 million. Whearas the UFC has had numerous buyout offers recently for well over a billion dollars.

    Do some homework next time.
