    alright to be fair, im not just talking about the #1 contender. i mean the best fighting each other. Im thinking Jones/Machida or Velasques vs. Dos Santos?

    Still, it happens quite a bit. Already we have 2 guaranteed for this year with Silva/Sonnen and Faber/Cruz.

    Personally I think it happens almost everytime a champion defends his belt in the UFC.. For Edgar, Henderson really is the next best guy in my opinion. With Aldo, for example, Mendes really was the next best guy.And in April, I honestly think Rashad Evans is the next best guy in the division.

    Again, the next, best guy is referring to opponents not already faced. For example, Mark Hominick might be better than Mendes or Hioki but Aldo already beat him. Same with HW. I still think Cain is the 2nd best HW out there but JDS already beat him.

    More like Jones vs Shogun. Machida vs Shogun 1 was a draw at best for Machida and he got KTFO the second time.

    So lets name our top two in each division. Starting with HW.

    JDS is for sure the #1, I can't really see how anyone would have a problem with Overeem being called the #2. You might see how someone could have Cain above Overeem, but beings Cain just got blown out in one round by JDS, I really can't see having him above Overeem.

    I'm totally down with these fights. No question. But do you really think Evans is the 2nd best in the division? I'm not so sure. Not saying he is way down there, but beating Phil Davis doesn't really put you as a lock for the title in my opinion.

    MW is pretty shallow, so yeah Anderson #1 and Chael #2

    Condit would be my #2

    LW is a muddy mess right now. I didn't even think Ben deserved the shot against Frankie, to be honest. Then I didn't think he won. But a rematch between the two would be #1 vs #2 I guess.

    That's where you get me. I would say Shogun and Machida, but Jones already disposed of them. So Rashad is probably right there. I can't really see too many other guys at 205 above him, but I would have liked to see him matched against someone a little more "elite" to get the title shot.

    You are crazy, Z. I had Frankie winning 4 rounds to 1. I could possibly see giving Ben two rounds. I have watched the fight 3 times now. I cannot see how someone can give Ben more than two rounds. I gave him the 2nd where he had the upkick, and I don't even think he really won that round decisively.

    The initial title of the thrad was a joke Sir. It was obvious. However, the point of my thread was made later in my second post. Instead, you choose to complain and cry about a fucking joke. You are being ridiculous. Go to the boxing section where that thread is a DIRECT attack on boxing. This one isnt.

    Boxing vs. MMA in terms of how it's run of course i Side with MMA. So do most boxing fans who hate MMA. Boxing is run horribly. Go in the boxing section and tell all of those who say boxing is dead and complain to them. Most of them dont post in this forum.

    You want to call me a bitch because i hate the way boxing is run. That is fine. But continue your spam. Continue to NOT discuss the point of the thread and continue to try and cry about something so insignificant, it makes me want to laugh.
