On Showtime's Challenger series this Friday night Marius Zaromskis makes his 3rd Strikeforce appearance after losing via KO to both Diaz and Evangelista Santos in his first two SF outings. This time he fights a little known dude named Waachiim Spiritwolf. Spiritwolf has a record of 8-7 and has lost 2 of his last 3 so it would be easy to overlook this matchup. However Spiritwolf is a freaking animal. His last time out he staged a 3 round slugfest in a narrow losing effort to the heavily hyped Billy Evangelista (who has a MD win over Nam Phan of TUF). This is a can't miss war. Spiritwolf is a go-for-broke slugger with very good chin and decent power. Obviously Zamorskis is technically sound striker who has had his chin and heart questioned recently. This is no walk in the park for Marius and I have a feeling he's going to get pushed again. Don't miss this one.
I've never seen Spiritwolf fight but Zaromskis is always an entertaining fighter with his aggressive style and awful defense. I"ll definitely check this one out.
