Hmm. While I am about 170 right now, I think I would need to hit 155 to get 10% bodyfat.

What is your bodyfat percentage and weight right now, BOSS?

Weight is 184 lbs. BF is I would guess 18%. After saying that 10% at 170 lbs sounds unlikely,so let's say 12%.

Say you have a bodyfat percentage of 18% at a weight of 184. That means you have about 33lbs of bodyfat. You lose exactly half of that without losing muscle (unlikely) and you're at 167.5 with 9% bodyfat. That's an ideal scenario and very unlikely to happen. You will lose a bit of muscle and you won't lose as much bodyfat. Still, you'd be lighter and your definition would be much greater.

How tall are you? I remember you saying something like 6ft or 6ft2? 170 would look kind of lanky at that height. I thought you were into the muscular build?

That's not so lanky then with a low percentage of bodyfat. You'd still have a fair amount of muscle. Do you play any sports or is it mainly weight training? I ask because activity-specific training would keep the muscle in the places you want it for the most part. Rock-climbing is something I latched onto while trying to get my weight down, and it definitely keeps your strength up as you lose weight.

Do you guys have fat gripz handles? Ever try fat grip chin ups? Not easy. I rattle out regular chin ups until I get bored but I only managed 3 with the fat grips.

No sports. I wish. I would love to go rock climbing and stuff like that but not too many people in my social circle are into fitness, and stuff like that. I am not worried about losing muscle at all, I have more than enough to be honest, I kinda feel too bulky as is. Right now I'm at 182 pounds so 12 more to go, but more than anything this is a mental battle with the dieting. That's the hardest part. But I am determined, and still have 2.5 months to go.
