I read the book a few months ago and loved it. Nice nostalgia for any 80's kid. You can see Freddy Krueger getting blown up in the trailer. This is another futuristic dystopian film. Gotta be honest, not thrilled about how it looks so far but I trust Spielberg on this one and can't wait
I think this could be Spielberg's return to his scifi sense of wonder magic of his earlier films. Sure, last year's The BFG was critically acclaimed, but it failed to connect with audiences (I was watching it a few weeks ago and after a little over an hour I still didn't gave a damn about the characters or the film, so I quit watching). This trailer looks promising.
Looks horrible. Not horrible as in badly made, but as in there´s-so-much-going-on-that-it-makes-the-eye-sore-of-Transformers-GCI-look-average horrible.
I don't want to risk my hard earned money on a film that might disappoint me. I'll wait for the RT reviews and then decide if it is worth the $5.00 for the movie ticket.

Dogshit. Bored after 10 minutes. Computer-games, geeks, dystopian future, Mark Rylance: four reasons to avoid this utter shit.
