Mel was 10x better than Teo's bum ass. Taylor actually knew how to box, which Teo does not. Teo is a leap amateur. And Taylor had Duva in his corner, not clueless ass Teo Sr. That last part is key, because Duva trained Pea, and would be able to gameplan to figure out Shakur. I'd make the Taylor who beat McGirt a comfortable favorite over Shakur. Too much handspeed and activity.
