    I don't think we've ever done this matchup before. Who wins?

    I would take Bramble. In his very very brief prime, I think he grinds Stevie down.

    Agreed. If you didn't have enough power to make Bramble gunshy you were in for bad night.

    i could see johnston out-working him and taking a decision. but i agree the safest bet is for bramble's aggression to overwhelm johnston. thing is, johnston had two pretty close fights with castillo. so it's not like he's not durable. he was way past his prime before people he was ever stopped.

    No knock on Stevie. He was one of my favorites.

    If they had a rematch I could see Stevie taking it because he tended to learn from the first fight and made the necessary adjustments to win in the rematch or at least make it a tossup.

    Stevie had the better career. He had a solid 3-4 year prime from 97-00. I think in 99 he was a lower top 10 p4p caliber guy.

    Bramble only had a three fight peak, then Chapo wrecked him and his prime was over.

    But suffice it to say, Stevie can't punch like Rosario.
