TKO is going to unstick the 2013-14 thread to make way for this one. First bit of news I'm going to add to this thread is..................Rio Ferdinand...yes, Rio Ferdinand, has agreed to take a pay cut in order to join QPR. Big news! I don't know what to think of this to be honest.

Luis Suarez has 'decided to leave' Liverpool and is being chased by Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Man Utd are on the verge of signing spanish midfielder Ander Herrera for £28.7 million.
Arsenal are leading the race to sign Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez.
Southampton's Adam Lallana could be joining Liverpool for around £30 million.
Italian striker Mario Balotelli is heavily linked with a move to Arsenal from AC Milan, but Napoli are reportedly after his signature too.

A number of clubs are after Joel Campbell (of Costa Rica & Arsenal), but his agent has said that he will not be leaving the Gunners.
Diego Costa's move to Chelski is not a done deal yet.
Argentinian midfielder Angel Di Maria is unsure about his Real Madrid future. He has been connected with a move to the Premier League.

Arsenal have agreed personal terms with QPR striker Loic Remy. The frenchman could be set to move to the Gunners for around £10 million.
Arsenal have rejected a bid from Man Utd for Belgium defender Thomas Vermaelen.

First off, leave Soothampton alone Ye Coronation Street vultures.

Secondly, the word on Sauchiehall street is that the Scoattish Championship is where it's at this season and is set tae beat the SPhelL in attendance figures, like. In fact, the SPL are yet tae find a sponsor. Don' let the Pope lend Ye soap on a rope.

NUFC signed a player, for cash, earlier this summer. It was the club's first non-loan signing for nearly two years. Spontaneous celebrations broke out all over Tyneside as Fat Mike, current net worth £4.5billion, finally splashed out and paid £1.5million for a bloke no-one has ever heard of. Despite claims to the contrary by Alan Pardew, no other players have been signed and no-one believes for a minute that any more will be.

Not really. According to the manager of Newcastle United (and former manager of Southampton FC), Southampton are the kind of big-hitting football club that minnows like us can only dream of competing with. It seems sensible to me that they must have players valued at £40m.

In dignified protest at how shit modern fitbaw is I'm gonna make so many OT posts this season that you guys won't know what way's up. In the middle of a conversation about Luke Shaw's future? Here comes ten photos of Glasgow or Hut's dog for no decipherable reason. What formation should Liverpool go with while Henderson is out with an ankle knock? Here comes hut talking about shoe shopping. Last ten minutes of Newcastle vs Everton? Hut has 3 posts about Carney's management of the housing bubble all saved up just for that very moment. BE WARNED!

I would not be shocked at all if Liverpool take any good offers from Real or Barca now.

They'll only sell him if he gets a really massive ban. And then, who would want to buy him?

I want someone to tell me WHY THERE ARE NO MOTHERFUCKING MATCHES ON 28 MARCH in the entire league?

I've been following the league since '04. I don't remember them ever breaking at that time of the year.

I don't think Rodgers wants to sell Count Dracula. He's probably crying at the thought of him leaving.

They usually have four international breaks, all before Christmas. Then they break three times for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th round of the FA Cup but that is by mid February.

If I have to guess, they may have just designated a week for make up games. Last year they were really scrambling to get all the make up games in. At one point Man City had a ridiculous amount of games in hand yet they were still alive in both cups plus the CL so they had to carry those games in hand for a while. Maybe they just dsaid "Fuck it, a week to make up all games." The league also goes longer this season. Until May 24 because of that off week.
