    Started watching The Orville on Hulu. I can’t believe this show has an 8.0 on IMDB and nearly every review seems to be above a 7 with nearly everyone commenting on how funny it is. It’s listed as a Sci-fi/comedy/drama and is a knock off of Star Trek.

    I give it an incomplete because I couldn’t even finish the first episode. It wasn’t interesting, wasn’t entertaining and certainly wasn’t funny. And I’m not talking about bad joke not funny, I’m talking about sitting through the first twenty minutes of the show wondering when the first joke was going to come. Then sitting through the rest of the show wondering if some jokes went over my head that I maybe missed. Either way the show wasn’t very good to me but maybe Trekkies like it.

    It seems the show is now 3 seasons in and I noticed a few reviewers criticizing and downgrading the 3rd season asking what happened to the comedy aspect.
