Love or hate Andrade, I truly feel he had the talent and skill to be a P4P level fighter. I remember when he obliterated Brian Rose on the Provo vs Algeri undercard 4 years ago.... he looked like he was gonna rule 154 for years to come.

I was quite confident a few years ago that he would have whupped both Charlo bros, and at the time, he would have.

Right now, it looks like promotional issues and inactivity are gonna ruin what could have been a promising career.

He's like 31 now I believe, and although he's still young enough to make noise at middleweight... he probably wasted his physical prime sitting on the shelf.

"Boo Boo" Andrade was EXPECTED to Be the Most Successful Member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team...Turned Out to Be Deontay Wilder, Who was Probably LAST on Most Lists in that Same Regard, Back Then...

The Idea of '08 Teammate, Sadam Ali, Being AS Accomplished as Andrade as a Pro was UNfuckingFATHOMABLE Back in '08...Yet That's the Case as REED Types...

Being a 6'2 Souf'Paw w/International Ammy Experience ALREADY Made Andrade a TOUGH SELL in the Pro's. He Compounded That By Affiliating Himself w/Promoters OUTSIDE the "Grid" so to Speak...The Business Side of Boxing is THE Toughest of All Nuts to Crack; As Such, it Behooves EVERY Upstart Olympian or Alternate to Align Themselves w/Golden Boy, Top Rank or PBC Out of the Gate, Period...

Even if You TRULY Feel You Have a Generational Talent and a Unique Way of Putting On Fights, it's BEST to Let That Generational Talent Get the EXPOSURE a Well Known, Incumbent Promoter Can Offer First...Explore the Independent Route AFTER the Promoter Has Garnered Name Recognition for Your Fighter....

REED's Seen a LOT of Mismanaged Fighters in the Dallas Area...Demetrius Andrade's Also Been Mismanaged...

Andrade Just Turned 30 in February, FYI...

Given his Style and the Fact He HASN'T Taken Much Punishment, Andrade Should Have a STRONG 3-5 Years of ELITE Level Fighting Left In Him...

Stylewise, Andrade always reminded me of Michael Nunn. Obviously, not as physically talented or as good as prime Nunn, but the style similarities are there.

I opened this thread because Boo Boo was SUPPOSE to fight in 3 weeks on the Munguia-Smith undercard, but now that's not happening.

I'd still love to see Andrade vs Jermall Charlo. Hopefully it happens one day.

I think Andrade would outclass Billy Joe Saunders.

At This Point, Boo-Boo's Gonna Have to GAMBLE On Himself...

Take SHORT Money Against a TOP Dog and PROVE Himself...A HIGH Risk LOW Reward Type of Bout...The Clock is Ticking on his Career and he CLEARLY Needs the A and B-List Middleweights/Jr. Middleweights MORE Than They Need Him...Andrade's Very Much on the OUTSIDE Looking In...100% of the BLAME for That is the Management of his Career...

Also, Andrade's Gotta PERFORM When the Occasion Arises...HBO Televised His Last Fight, Against Some 6'5 Dude Who Boo-Boo HURT in the Very 1st Round...Nonetheless, 11 BORING Ass Rounds Followed...Instead of SEIZING the Moment, Forcing HBO to Feature Him Again, Andrade Piqued Interest Early and ALLOWED that Interest to Completely Dissipate with Each Ensuing Round...

If REED were Andrade's Matchmaker, he'd Seek Bouts w/Guys Who JUST Lost to the Bigger Names...Hugo Centeno, Jr., the Polish Dude Daniel Jacobs Fought Last, Fighters of That Ilk (ASSuming Bigger Names Won't Bite)...Common Opponents Allowing for Andrade's Manner of Victory to Be DIRECTLY Compared to Bigger Names at '54-'60...

If Andrade was on top form, I dunno if Munguia would be ready for him. Might be too young and green.

But we dunno yet... maybe Andrade ain't good enough for Munguia.

Munguia could be just a good fighter... or he could potentially be special. We'll see in the coming years.

Andrade-Sulecki would be a good matchup, REED. Good test for Boo Boo. Sulecki can fight.

I have no interest in watching Andrade beat up Hugo Centeno.

The Centeno Fignt Would Put Pressure On Andrade to Match or SURPASS Charlo’s Performance.

Yes, Centeno Sucks, But Can Boo-Boo SHINE When he’s Supposed to?

Based on what we know? No. He cannot shine when he's supposed to. And in general, he is boring to watch.

How much shine would there be to beating Centeno and since Charlo highlight reeled him in two rounds, how would Andrade improve on that?

I enjoy watching Andrade fight more than Porter.

I actually agree with you here.

Nada to gain from fighting Centeno.

I wouldn't mind seeing Boo Boo beat up Spike O'Sullivan.

Spike sucks. He's a lower top 10 at best. He got obliterated by Eubanks and we saw that Eubanks, while good, is not elite
