Supposedly Bradley is calling it a day and will make a formal announcement soon.

If so, enjoy retirement, Timmy the head. The guy was a classic overachiever. Wasn't the most talented or skilled guy around, and had limited pop, but made it up for it with grit, craftiness, and determination.

Got a total gift in the first Pac fight, but that's the judges fault, not his.

The Provo fight was a classic war and will always be remembered.

Not a great fighter by any means, and I don't think he's deserving of the HOF... but a good fighter and a solid career.

Yeah he was a good fighter, seems like a good bloke as well. He did really well against Marquez.

Good fighter, seemed like a likeable guy.

As said, he was a hard-working overachiever. I remember reading how he was super broke when fought Witter.

Within a few years he was fighting Pacquiao on PPV for huge money. Everyone bashed him for getting a gift over Pacquiao, then he gave us the classic brawl with Provo. That may have shortened his career as he took brutal punishment and suffered a concussion, but he still had success afterwards.

His other fights with Peterson, JMM, and Holt were pretty decent fights too.

According to the current standard, the guy is clearly a HOF.

Always liked Bradley. was kind of a poor man Hagler, in the sense that he wasn't the most talented and flashy guy, but was so gritty and strong that he was able to compensate for it

    Hagler was very talented.

hagler was talented, but he wasnt a super talent like a Roy, SRL or Hearns. But he had skills and grit to compensate.

Bradley was a bit like that also, though on a much lower level of course

    If anybody's a poor man's Hagler, it's Crawford.

I dunno the right comparison for Bradley.

Salute to Timmy. He was a very good fighter. Not HOF talent as previously said, but gave us some good fights .

He'll probably be a pretty good trainer.

Ok i gave Pacman ALL the benefit of the doubt and scored a draw.. but i think the judges had it correct.

If you want to dispute it tell me which round and why then we can break it down. I know its cliche but seriously ..."watch it with the volume off":

    Pac brad 1 score

    Rnd 1

Brad controls first 2:40, lands some OK shots throughout. Pac lands 2 NICE shots late. Crew goes apeshit, saying Pac stole the round. Start of 2nd Max starts to backtrack that statement... He's thinking maybe those 2 blows didn't really exceed the accumulation from the rest of the round...?

    Judges 2-1 in Pac favor.

    IMO PAC round, barely

    10-9 pac

    Rnd 2

Several flurries throughout rnd. Most Pac leads, lands, maybe glancing but lands, then Bradleys counters with combo, lands a couple more. Mostly even but accounting for Bradleys hold/hit tactic he DID land a bunch of shots there and gives him the edge.

    Judges 2-1 in Bradley favor

IMO Bradley round, close but clear

    19-19

    Rnd 3

Pac lands several good shots. Bradleys counters are pretty ineffective.

    Judges 3-0 in Pac favor

    IMO pac round, EASY

    29-28 pac

    Rnd 4

Bradley comes out aggressive. Leading almost every exchange. Despite what the crew says, Bradley is moving Pacs head with his shots.Pac flurries hard in the last minute. Looks like he might have hurt Bradley with the 1 shot that lands... But Bradley keeps moving good, and finishes off the round with 2 hard shots on Pac. Post round indicates that Bradley twisted his ankle...confirmed later in fight. IE not hurt at all.

    Judges 3-0 in Pac favor

IMO- this could go either way, honestly, I'll go Pac though to avoid outrage.

    39-37 pac

    Rnd 5

Crew (Max) starts a monologue about how Bradley is getting destroyed and should quit. Wtf fight is he watching?!? Pac take first 2 mins off pretty much. Bradley controls. Last minute Pac again flurries... Lands some stuff, a bit more than Bradleys counters... But not THAT much.. Postround Pacmans mouth is bloodied up good.

Judges 2-1 bradley. Pacs vacationing is starting to wear on them...

IMO- Bradley round. Too much control

    48-47 pac

    Rnd 6

Slow round. The crew takes note of pacs 2 minutes off 1 minute on routine. Bradley kinda winning... Pacs last minute flurry comes on like clockwork. Bradley dodges most shots, but a few land somewhat. Is that how you win rounds??

    Judges 3-0 Pac

IMO Pac round. Bradleys early control wasnt too effective

    58-56 pac

    Rnd 7

Normal boxing first half of round. Exchanges start halfway... bradley is looking good. Crowd goes a little quiet after a HARD bradley shot. The crew doesnt even notice without the crowd cueing them. Bradley won the exchanges, no question. Pacs mouth and tongue is getting shredded. Clear concern in pac corner.bradley corner feeling good.

    Judges 3-0 bradley

IMO bradley round. These judges know whats up! Lederman is a fool. Compubox on crack.

    67-66 pac

    Rnd 8

Commentary opening this round clearly will influence viewers, cant say much more than that on it. Sporadic back and forth in this round. Pac got the slight edge, but is definitely hitting air alot more than tim. Jinky choking up at ringside.

    Judges 2-1 bradley.

    IMO this is even.

    77-76 pac

    Rnd 9

Pacman outboxed and outlanded bradley for most of the round, first 2 minutes or so. Bradley did snap pacs head several times though.

    Judges 2-1 pacman

IMO pac round, judges are on point.

    87-85 pacman

    Rnd 10

Pacman taking whole round off. Bradley slugged him pretty good throughout. Even the crew admits bradley took this one, pac landed nothing.

    Judges 3-0 bradley

    IMO bradley EASY

    96-95 pac

    Rnd 11

Back and forth flurries through round. Both guys hit equal parts opponent and equal parts air.

    Judges 2-1 bradley

    IMO even

    106-105 pacman

    Rnd 12

Bradley brings offence. Pac lands some shots but Bradley lands more.

    Judges 3-0 bradley

    IMO bradley round

    115-115 even fight

Pac looks a bit more beat up than Bradley.

Judges award SD Win to Bradley. Cant argue too much. I could see one of my even rounds going to Bradley, so I'm nit complaining either way.

Bradley/Pac was clearly a corrupt decision intended to pave the way for a Pac/Bradley trilogy (both promoted by Arum) at a time when neither Top Rank or HBO had very many other options at 147.

    Haven't ever rewatched Pac-Bradley.

I remember Pac starting well early and mostly winning rounds off outworking Bradley. Towards the end he layed off him and tempered his aggression and I had figured he did enough. Wasn't blown away by his performance, though.

    Would have to rewatch it.

Without offically scoring it, I'd say even giving Bradley 4 rounds would be generous.

It was closer to 9-3, or even 10-2.

    Epic robbery.

I'll decline. Pac-Bradley was one of the most uneventful PPV fights ever.

It made DLH-Trinidad look like Pryor-Arguello by comparison.

No dumbass, I don't favor either. I score fights on CLEAN/effective punching, and Manny landed by far the cleaner and more effective shots on Timmy while controlling the pace.

Reeling around the perimeter panicking equals an opponent who has been 'effected' by punches,.. but you'd probably call that 'ring generalship' and 'setting the pace' , 'cleaner' equals a pot-shot on the run, while Porter roars, "come on bitch let's do this"....

Manny?... Timmy?... what are you talking about?
