Had Vannata not abandoned his head movement and not gotten tired, it would have been a different story. but he took the fight on really short notice.
Ferguson is always in exciting fights. I thought this would be an easy win since I hadn't heard of Vannata. I forgot there was a UFC on a Wednesday, so I almost missed it. I turned the tv on just in time for this one. Vannata was too ballsy for his own good. He came so close to winning. He forgot about protecting himself from punches and the d'arce choke at the end. This is one of those cases where a guy makes his UFC debut, loses, but wins a lot of fans. I can't wait to see him again. I already knew Ferguson is a must see fighter. He has to be close to a title shot at this point.
