Cormier should win this. I hope he wins and retires on top.

Just got around to watching this card. In the Dvalishvili-Dodson fight I was surprised to hear the announcers were surprised that Dodson was such a huge underdog, whereas I was actually surprised Dodson was such a high ranked fighter (12).

Dodson’s fights pretty much always go the same way and somebody summed it up in a nice tweet saying “Dodson doesn’t fight like he used to be a atrawweight, he fights like he used to be a heavyweight...no output”.

It’s not totally Dodson’s fault though. He has a similar problem guys like Zab Judah and Andre Berto had. Too short for Bantamweight but too bulky for Strawweight and his competition towers over him putting him at huge height and reach disadvantages.

Sean actually should have been suitable to survive and defend that ground and pound.

    That was inadequately defended.

He has his right arm extended, and Chito has a lot of space to weigh up a shot, elbow in this case.

Omalley would've existed better off using his right arm as a guardian to take the shots on and do his way out of there.
