I've seen half a dozen ads for Showtime's fights tonight and not one of them mentions the Donaire fight. Are they definitely showing it? Because if they're not, I don't wanna be disappointed come 9:00. I might get violent. Kidding of course.

Their website mentions three fights, and so did their press release.

    Luis Maldonado, 37-1-1, 28 KO's.

You may remember him from such fights as an eighth round knockout loss to Vic Darchinyan on a lonely June night last year.

he also has a draw with Mijares which means he can't be too bad. and i think he's won his last 5 fights. in the very least, we can be certain he "thinks" he can win. sometimes that's all it takes for a fight to be good. too often opponents come in not even expecting to win. how the hell is that gonna be a good fight? i don't think this falls under that category.
