what's the best matchup yet to be made in boxing? Obviously Loma-Rigo is excluded from this since it has already been made.

    Spence-Thurman?
    Spence-Canelo?
    Joshua-Wilder?
    Joshua-Fury?
    Spence-Crawford?
    GGG-Eubank?
    Loma-Crawford?

I'd love to see Joshua-Fury just for the event and the build-up. Plus there's that whole lineal thing which needs to be sorted out.

Spence - Crawford is very intriguing and should be a good fight. Maybe that would be the best right now.

Joshua - Canelo would be good too.

Stevenson vs Kovalev is still a very interesting fight. Probably would be a bombs away war. Shame that it will never happen

I forgot about Spence - Thurman, that's just as interesting as the Crawford fight imo. I think Thurman is a bit better than most give him credit for.

Not sure Kovalev Vs anyone is that interesting now. He looked kind of done in the 2nd fight against Ward.

    I'd also like to see

    Inoue Vs Gonzalez

    Garcia - Tank at 135

    Garcia - Crawford

Spence Thurman for me....although I salivate at the prospect of all the fights I listed. But Spence Thurman is THE fight to be made right now.

Very close second is Joshua vs Wilder

Why do you prefer Thurman over Crawford to go against Spence? You think he is a bigger threat?

Yeah if Lomachenko beats Gondo, I'd love to see him fight Garcia at 135.

Joshua would slaughter Canelo inside of a minute, then lose by split decision.

Valdez-Santa Cruz, Bivol-Beterbiev, and Andrade-Hurd are good ones.

I think at this point, most of us simply view Thurman and Jeff Horn as obstacles in the way of the TRUE superfight.

My prediction is Spence will stop Thurman in impressive fashion, and Crawford will stop Horn in impressive fashion.... then let's get it on!

BTW Sly, you mentioned Spence-Canelo... I'd take Spence to whup Canelo in a hot second. Only question is how badly would the judges fuck Spence.

Lol, crawford has a long way to go before beong considered a bigher threat than thurman. Guys he beat were barely better than quintana. And thurman also slaughtered in style these kind of guys

Spence just beat a better fighter than Thurman.

Thurman just faded late, and dropped about 4-5 rounds to Danny Gift.

Don't get the Thurman hate. He's a good solid fighter, and honestly I wouldn't be surprised at all if he beat Crawford, I'd say that's a 50/50 fight.

    LMAO! Jesus Christ.

I don't hate Thurman. He's a quality fighter.... not historically speaking, but he's definitely one of the best welters of today.

I just think Spence is a class above.

As for Crawford-Thurman... I do wanna see Crawford vs Horn first, but I suspect Crawford would take Thurman apart. He's too good a technician for Thurman's size to be the winning factor.

    He isn't a leap amateur :D

He might not have the most amount of finesse and craft, but he has a solid skillset, and is just a pretty good all round fighter tbh. As Slice said recently, not spectaular in any area, but not bad in any area either.

I hope he does fight your boy Crawford and you'll see ;)

Crawford claims that he wants Thurman because he feels Thurman is the best welterweight in the world. He seems dismissive of Spence.

My hunch is - he'd rather fight Thurman than Spence because he feels more confident in beating Keith.

He's totally a leap amateur... he jumps 15 feet in the air if his opponent feints at him ... then he throws these stupid WOOOOSH! right hands that clearly don't live up to his nickname... he wastes energy all tense and shit ... leap amateur... it's the worst style

Crawford and Spence look nice and relaxed by comparison

Or he knows that "One Time" is really more like "175 times" while Spence is a real sexy belter

Thurman is not even big. He's a 5'7 welter with a medium build. Looks like a 140 pounder to me in all honesty.

But I don't think he'd be an easy fight for Crawford in the slightest. Crawford is a very good, skilled fighter - but I think him fighting scrubs has got people thinking he's better than he is. I didn't think he looked great against either Burns or Gamboa, and since then he's fought a bunch of guys who are decidedly average at world level. Some guy called BigDongo who I'd never even seen before.

In fact I take it back that Spence - Crawford is intriguing, it would be an interesting style matchup between two skilled operators, but I'm very confident Spence would win.
