If he stays out of jail of course. He is 7-0 (5) .22 years old. 6'3 236 Very interesting character. His boxing talents were first spotted by a boxing coach when he was a teenager involved in a soccer hooligans brawl outside a club lol. Then his career started to progress nicely got up to 5-0 (3) as a cruiserweight and was going to fight gon the undercard of Adamek Golota but got arrested at the weigh ins for another soccer hooligan brawl. Went to jail for 1.5 years gained some 40 pounds in muscle and came back as a heavyweight. His first fight back was against some euro bum who was 8-0 (7) ko'ed him with one punch in 30 seconds. Great KO it's the first embedded video I posted. Then last weekend fought in the states and won by another KO1. Was going to spar with Monte Barrett but Monte refused after Szpilka KO'ed his sparring partner and beat up couple other ones. If he keeps focued he willl be champion watch. Bump this thread in 2 years.

He seems to take the Hip Hop culture more seriously than Roy Jones or Floyd Mayweather.....not a good sign when he fights in the states vs. fighters who are more hip hoppery than him. Rabbit will feel a bit intimidated.....

I know he lacks experience but if he continues to learn and develop slowly, I could see Deontay Wilder making some noise in a couple years. Has the height and range....good jab and very good handspeed. Needs to fill out a bit. At 6'7", he should be bigger than 220-225. His power isn't what his record would lead you to believe.....but I think it is respectable at this point....and will get better if he puts on some weight.

If the Klits are still champs in two years, this guy will be deemed a worthy challenger for the title.

I'm not going to say he's ever going to be a champ, but he can punch fairly decently. If there's something the casual fan likes, it's a guy who can punch and wants to get the opponent out of there instead of someone who plays keepaway for 12 rounds.

    Guy sucks.

He's easier to hit than a coked up tranny.

He'll get leveled against the fist good banger he faces

I think it will be Mike Tyson if he gets back with Kevin Rooney and works on his head movement.

His footwork is pretty dreadful... he keeps his feet too far apart and and everytime he moves, he inevitably puts himself momentarily off balance by focusing all of his weight on his front foot, while swinging the back foot into place behind it... furthermore, all of his movement is predicated on that front foot... the back foot is essentially dragged along for the ride... if he is ever pushed back (which will inevitably happen at some point if he fights anyone with a pulse) this will be very bad for him

He's going to be in a lot of trouble against a good right-handed counterpuncher... he leaves himself wide open after throwing his left (which is sloppy and looks devastating against these tomato cans)

He does not appear particularly quick, even against such miserable competition

The rest is question marks... power is proved when a fighter moves up in comp, not by his knocking out bums... the chin, obviously won't be tested against fighters like these... and with it, the resolve

Pretty good and acurate take CDogg, I agree. He also arm punches a lot, I don't think his power is going to turn out to be as impressive as it looks against these no hopers.

He`s fighting McCline in less than 2 weeks. He just fought this guy here on June 1. He`s 11-0 (9) now. I really like this guy. He has a great personality. He`s very very humble and mature and sounds nothing like what he looks like when coming out for his fights. With this fight here he was very very pissed off at himself because he felt he did awfully. He sounded so sad you`d think he was gonna cry.

Gonzalo Basile is a solid gatekeeper against C class fighters. I still don't think Szpilka projects past B-, but McCline is probably a B- fighter right now so we'll see.

Actually, I'll just revise McCline to be at C level if Szpilka wins so I can hold off elevating Szpilka regardless of what happens.

Against a can, I thought the fight was too short to get all or even some of what this guy does/does not do right. There are liberties you can take when you're fighting known bums that you won't take when fighting better competition.

It reminds me of when my boy fought Bernard Hopkins in Hopkins' fourth fight. My boy was knocked out in the first round; however, in the short time he was in the ring with Hops, he was put in the headlock twice, was thrown to the canvas; Hops was warned both times before the ref stopped the fight. The only thing I took from that fight was how Hops was a mean and nasty bastard! Obviously, there was more than what met the eye.

When you get to 43 years of age, anyone is a worthy challenger. Just ask Bernard Hopkins.
