Even though Fedor losing was much more significant, this was clearly my favorite MMA moment of 2010...

This had it all: a guy sticking up for his team against Koscheck, Koscheck's #1 pick getting put to sleep in less than 20 seconds, Koscheck standing there blown away, and Cody backing up his words with his actions.

if carwin didn't gas or if velazquez was a more likeable guy than this would be it for me too.

was lawler/manhoef in 2010? If so, then that's my pick, even though i like melvin.

That was a fake, made-for-TV beef though.

From what I saw, Silva chokes Sonnen after bring dominated is my tops.

I got go Top 5 in no order:

    1) Leben throwing a triangle on Akiyama after 3 brutal rounds.
    2) Aoki looking like a 3rd grade girl against Melendez
    3) BJ Penn knocking Matt Hughes senseless
    4) Lesnar taking down Carwin after getting brutalized in the 1st round
    5) Diaz beating the smug out of KJ Noons

Koscheck and mini-Koscheck were both talking crap about Cody the whole time. He didn't feel like touching them up.

If someone is mouthing off to you for a long period of time and then you're about to fight them, you don't owe them anything but an asswhupping.

Love the list!! Leban vs Akiyama was probably my favorite fight of the year. The only thing I would add to this is Werdum subbing Fedor, I was at the show live and it was a shocker to say the least.

Me too. I've always been a fan of the Diaz brothers and I was tired of hearing the Noons fans gloating about that lame fist fight and acting like Diaz was going to get dominated even if the fight wasn't stopped because of the cut. As if Diaz is a stranger to adversity in fights. What made it even better was Nick outboxing Noons.

Since Brock actually submitted Carwin, I'm going to assume you meant Cain?
