Bernard Hopkins' Exit Plan: 'Gimme Pascal, Dawson, Bute, I'm Gone'

I'd rather see Pascal beat Hopkins, then fight Bute so I can go and watch in Montreal.

 

Bernard will not beat Dawson. He really really showed his age vs. Pascal. Time to hang 'em up.

Operation Snaggletooth should be expedited.

 

I hope that Hopkins gets his wish and loses all 3 fights.

But he would get major props from mE for fighting such a tough lineup for his last 4 fights.

 

You know, I really thought he looked old versus Pascal for the first 3 rounds. He was getting tagged with wild punches and he got legitimately dropped.

However, I think it might have been more due to the wild, hard to time shots of Pascal more than age because as the fight went on Bernard seemed far more relexive and was able to avoid the wild, odd angled punches of Pascal.

Obvioulsy Bernard is getting older and it's just a matter of time before he's completely destroyed in a fight, but he didn't look that old against Pascal. I thought he won the fight.

 

It was as good as he has looked in years.

 

Hop would beat Dawson....but at this point BUTE will really fuck him up...

 

Very good question.

Bernard will not quit the sport until he gets beaten down to within an inch of his life. He's a very stubborn fighter.

 

I wish he would skip a few steps and get to the "I'm gone" part.

 

I think he beats Pascal again. He might win or lose a close ud with Dawson.

He would lose the Bute fight much like the Calzaghe fight. But with a wider margin.
