HBO could do a fight between Roman and Escalante for half of what they would pay these guys. It will be a much better fight.

 

Cintron has proven alot more than Berto. If they did fight I give Cintron a good shot especially with Berto's chin.

There is no way that Ortiz is a better oponent. Ortiz hasn't even fought the big names at 140, so this makes no sense for either guy.

 

It makes perfect sense for Berto, it's more of the same, not taking any chances in the ring.

 

C'mon.... I know somebody other than me must like the idea of that punk Ortiz getting beat down.

 

Even if I did--and I don't--it wouldn't be at the expense of Berto getting another gimme fight out of the deal.

 

Always remember that Berto used a human tragedy to wriggle his way out of a fight with Shane. The sight of the squat little brute barely doing any better with Collazo than Hatton did makes me think this punk is there for the taking.

If I was Frank Werren I would try to move Kell Brook into a fight with Berto...Berto wouldn't train and would get the shit shined right out of him.

All I know is that even most Brits I hear discuss Brook think he's mediocre and dont fancy his chances against Berto. And considering these same Brits like to hype up guys like Con, Froch, Haye, and Calz like they're gods... it must mean that Brook is pretty shitty.

Plus in the youtube clips Ive seen of him he looks like a guy with decent speed, who makes alot of amatuerish mistakes that he gets away with cause he's fighting sloths.

I dont see his handspeed being on par with Berto's, so those mistakes he makes would be exploited by Berto brutally.

 

It's not that Brits overrate Froch or Khan, they are what they are, it's just they are so ridiculously UNDERRATED on here there comes a point you have to step in and say "hold on a second...".

 

Brook I'm neither a fan or a hater, he's a good fighter who has the beating of some world class fighters, and will take beatings against others.

Cintron would KO Berto which is why this fight will never happen. Instead, Berto (and more directly, his promoter) will look to 140 for smaller guys who Berto can overwhelm with his speed without punity.
