Tua eventually ices him. This is, assuming we're talking the 96-97 Tua. Tommy could outpoint the fat Tua.
Yup. I like Tua big in this one. Even in Morrison's best wins, there were still plenty of shaky moments. Not that it's inconceivable for Tua to be outboxed... but if Morrison fought him the way he did Foreman, Tua would eventually catch up to him and land a bomb.
Morrison would undoubtedly be knocked out at some point in this fight. Morrison's chin is too fragile and Tua's chin is too good.
I think that part is debatable. Tommy had a HELLUVA left hook. I dunno who's was harder, but Morrison's was easily MUCH faster. I'd take Morrison's hook over Tua's, personally. Chin would be the differance in this fight.
Morrison would probably hold on I reckon. He's better than your Oleg Maskaev's or David Izon's of the world. Morrison UD.
Not to mention the very, very ordinary Hasim Rahman, who made a complete fool of Tua. First glance, you expect at some point they trade, & Tua knocks him out. I still fancy that would be the scenario, but Rahman boxed Tua's ears off, & Morrison escaped Foreman to win a decision --- even a 1993 Foreman is better than Tua, with a greater punch variety, superior jab, & great advantages in height & reach. There's a very real chance Morrison wins a decision here.
