In fairness, he's never been the sharpest tool in the shed anyway.

I mean, this is a man whose own trainer (Lou Duva) said words to the effect of...

" Whatever I told him, he would just nod his head & say, 'Okay.' There were never any questions. If I told him to walk through a brick wall, he would just nod his head & say, 'Okay.' "

If only the crowd could count on that kind of excitement. The more likely outcome is a Klitschko-Ibragimov style jab, jab, hug, 10-2 decision for Klitschko, in a fight which puts the collective planet into a mild coma, sans the nation of Germany & Irish 2002-03.

If either of the Klitschko brothers were as mean as "Drago" that could be the case, especially if there was a shitty corner and ref.

I think a jab fest would be more likely if Evander didn't fall after some power shots.

Yeah, sure. How many stoppages does Wlad have in his last 10 fights?

I would put every cent I ever earned & my father's life on the table that Klitschko would jab & hold his way to a decision & never, ever go after Holyfield. Not even cross his mind to do so. He would treat Holyfield like a young Tyson.

All in good fun, mate. No one is having a go at you or your boy (except to say he's not my style of entertaining Boxing --- & as someone who can watch Whitaker or Benitez for hours, I know each to his own is right), but see my post above on how I see Klitschko-Holyfield specifically.

Klitschkos won't fight Evander because they fear the black style of boxing

Vitali would nail Holyfield over and over again until he drops. If it's Wlad your talking about,.. I kinda doubt it,.. after 5 or so rounds,.. with Emmanuel Steward screaming in his hear,.. he'll start to pop it.

Though still on the subject,...what do you think about Hopkins minimal output, excessive fouls, and zero knockouts, in exchange for relentless praise and glory? :crafty: ...

So that they don't put you in a hospital bed for the rest of your life Evander.

Losing to Valuev should have made you realise.

You would??? Because that would pay around +400/600 if that fight got ever made.

just to clarify, you think he wouldn't wanna embarass the old guy or he would fight safety first since he thinks Holyfield got more left than say Sam Peter or Rahman, who he KOed?? :scratcher:

Holyfield, even at his age, is solid, & I think his name would give Klitschko (unnecessary) pause for thought. I don't think he would take it easy so as not to embarrass him, but once he found how comfortable his position was boxing rather than fighting, he'd see no reason to leave that zone.

Vitalis tissue paper face would part before the might of the Holyhead like the red sea parted for Moses.

Aight count your cents. I'm gonna take you up for it. Holyfield at 48 is definitely not any more solid than Peter and after a few rounds not missing with a jab, Wlad would fuck him up with the right. He won't even have to try hard for that.

He'd give a better account of himself than most the fat orcas Vitali's fought the last 10 years.

Vitali fought Peter, Gomez, Arreola, Johnson and Sosnowski after his comeback. Maybe Arreola was fat, but sure Holyfield would perform better than those... and last longer. :notallthere:

ALL these guys would have beaten up Evander.

Holyfield would give Vitali a better fight than these treacle treading lummoxes. He might not have a better chance of winning but he'd pose more questions, early at least. How Evander does against them is neither here nor there.

I don't know about that... Evander lost to every half-decent fighter he fought in the last decade (don't mention Valuev, i said half-decent), and usually quite badly. Larry Donald toyed with him several years ago and we saw how well Donald fared against Vitali. And i don't think Evander improved since then...
