http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/more-on-diaconu-henry-73036#more-73036 This well written report says it all, folks. Henry is training with one of the legends, and is working very hard, and he is punching very vicious now. I hope to do a video with him within the next 2 weeks for you good boxing folks here, and he sends his very best to all of you here on FB. The winner gets a title shot vs. Pascal, and it will be one hell of a fight. I will try to keep you folks updated, but for now; Chris has to continue to train and sacrifice in solitude to maintain his focus, and thanks and God Bless! Karl
BYE, TYPIST!! FB is heading into the right direction despite this frustrated and cowardly keyboard warrior who calls themselves "Boss" LOL! Stay tuned, folks! It will be a lot of fun and informative as I bring FB up close and personal with a world class light heavyweight who has been there for the last four years for you folks. Take Care, Karl
Diaconu's management/promoters wanted a 60/40 split in their favor with options that were unacceptable, Andrew. I think it will turn out the better in the end as I do not think this fight will go the distance.
That is a great question, bro. I honestly do not know as he is so focused on this fight here, but I will keep you folks posted if I hear something. I do know that he banged Chad around in the gym before the second Glen Johnson fight, so if that fight happens, it will be a shootout as Chris told me Chad can really punch. Karl
I figure Hopkins is going to worm his way in for another fight with Pascal before anybody,.. and cause another close and contraversial decision, this time in his favor. Then I figure somewhere in this triangle the winner is mandated to face Chad, as we all know, Hopkins refuses to fight Chad, and will thustly vacate his title,.. leaving Chad, and the next in line to fight for it, which I assume will be Chris Henry. So I hope it happens, I'm sure they'll bring out the best in each other.
That is a great analysis, bro. Henry admires Hopkins more so than any other champion today as Bernard is one of his boxing heroes. Karl
Yeah, but he's been in the gym, Andrew. From what I have been hearing, he's looking good. He's been in the gym longer than Henry has, that is for sure. Henry has not fought since last March, and that was a one round blowout, and has a lot of rust to shake off. He is not training in Houston for this one as he is under a new trainer and gym, so I don't have access to his workouts right now. He wants to keep it under tabs for now, so I have to respect that, but he has a lot of work to do and probably not a whole lot of time to get it done, but I'll pick him here by knockout in a tough one as he really wants it. Chris was working as a longshoreman for the better part of last year, and sometimes couldn't make it to the gym on a daily basis as he was tired out by the 12 - 16 hour shifts, but the hard labor on the docks kept him in good shape so I don't think it will be an issue. See ya.
Managerial issues for the inactivity, but those have been resolved. Bobby Benton is a good trainer, but he felt it was time to learn under an elite trainer to take him to the next level, as well as a change of environment.
Diaconu is a bully. Why is he fighting that bum Chris Henry again? He schooled him once so what's the point. That's like me beating up my little sister. There is nothing to prove. Fucking bully I can't stand bullies. Karl tell Henry not to worry at least he will get some money for his ass kicking coming up.
I like Henry here. Diaconu won the first fight, and it was clear. I don't care what anyone says about that. But times have changed, Henry has improved, Diaconu has regressed... Henry might stop the guy.
what leads you to believe Henry has improved? though he kinda looks like Benny Briscoe, he fights like Lenny Briscoe
