They're both undefeated hence the only logical outcome is a draw. I know boxing.

    That's Ugotabe Bumming logic.

Mayweather beats both son and father at their bests.

wow is the title of this thread misleading

I've always been one of the few JCC Jr supporters on this side of the border, but he loses to any version of Floyd.

You'd pick Hatton's Mother to beat Floyd Mayweather so you saying this means nothing..

Did Hearns rip Benitez' head from his shoulder? What makes you think that Hearns would knock out the ultra elusive, fleet-footed, intelligent Floyd who's never been legitimately dropped let alone knocked out?

I'm more objective where Floyd is concerned that you are. In fact you're one of the most ignorant of all fight beat posters. Stick to posting pictures of big-assed women, I admire you for that, leave the boxing for those of us that know a thing or to...

Floyd is not nearly as fleet-footed @ 154. Tommy's jabs and eventually a big right hand would get through.

Nah...I'm assuming 147lbs, not 154lbs...as I've only ever discussed Floyd vs Hearns (picked Hearns) at Welterweight.

Mayweather is not as good as a 147-154 Benitez....Horse PLEASE!!! You are the biggest Mayweather nuthugger on these boards....SRR was overated..Mayweaher will beat SRL and Robinson..talk a lot of nuthuggerisim ..just to back off and say "nah i was just kidding...trying to get a reaction"...

and you are RIGHT Hearns will not rip Mayweather head of his shoulder....because Pretty Boy/Money May will NEVER step in the ring with someone like HEARNS..

Here we go again with the same old tired "Floyd is scared to fight anyone" rhetoric.

Considering Mayweather legacy/track record..do you really believe he would have jumped from 135-140 to 147 and fight THOMAS HEARNS or SUGAR RAY LEONARD?? really..?

You being the nuthugger that you are will say "YES"...

    In a drinking match, yes.

Chavez Sr. at 130 kills Floyd. I mean, murders him to death.

Negative. At 130, Floyd was flawless.

This must've been an easy fight for you to pick, since you hate brown Mexicans less than black Americans.

Chavez Sr. would have about a good of a chance at beating Floyd at 130 as Chavez Jr.

Not only was he flawless, he also had every possible physical advantage over Chavez. Size, speed, strength, power all go to Floyd Jr. The only thing Chavez over Floyd was the ability to take a punch; good thing too, as it'd serve him well in this fight.

Care to explain Castillo's success against Mayweather? A similar, yet markedly lesser, fighter than Chavez himself --- especially at 135, where Chavez was just a beast.

I'd favour Floyd over Chavez sr, marginally.

Also bigger if I'm not mistaken.

Not that he had that much success to begin with. He lost two fights, the second being pretty much a landslide.

Bigger, but in no way better --- even allowing for the size.

I had Castillo earning a draw in their first fight, & he hardly lost the second by a landslide. That is far over the top.

It probably contributed but it wasn't like the rematch was a blow out.

I favor Chavez but don't have a big problem with those who would take Floyd.

Mayweather would have to use an extra gear or two to beat Chavez that's for sure.

First, Castillo is bigger than Chavez. Second, Floyd fought Castillo's fight in the first fight and still beat him. Then he beat him again in the rematch. Finally, most here will disagree with me, but I don't think that Castillo is "markedly lesser" than Chavez Sr, who I think is the most overrated fighter of all time.

That fight was no worse than 8 to 4 for Mayweather, and the scorecards were closer than the fight considering Mayweather was coasting.

Dont see the humor. Mayweather built up a decent lead in the second fight and was more or less trying to stink out the decision win late in the fight.
