Apparently earlier today, Bradley volunteered to be Khan's next opponent on April 16, in the UK?

I would take Khan over Bradley. Khan does everything better and Bradley has little power.

Khan was pressured and took punches pretty well vs Maidana

If bradley/khan meet, would khan be the fastest opponent bradley has faced?

No he didnt. I thought he looked terrible. He was almost KOed a few times and was flopping all around the ring like a fish out of water.

Maybe, but Bradley would be the fastest Khan has ever met.

He was flopping all over the place and looking ready to go, late on yes I give you that, but how come maidana couldn't finish him off, or why didn't the ref stop the fight if khan was ''gone''?

Bradley hasn't the power maidana has and if maidana couldn't stop khan, bradley will not, even with his skills, but against alexander, bradley wasn't that impressive and looked sloppy at times too.

Bradley applies pressure better than Khan. I think it is a very good matchup for Khan right now. The way Bradley beats Khan is by outworking Khan with the pressure. And the way to outwork Khan is to make him run out of gas. But I expect that Khan will be well-suited for a distance fight after learning more about himself against Maidana. He'll know how to pace better, he'll know that he can take hard shots, he'll know that he can suck it up.

I would expect Khan to win pretty clearly and relatively easily. But if Bradley ends up winning, it will likely be a great fight because I don't see Khan shutting down like Alexander mostly did.

Could you see a khan/maidana 1st round type of scenario where if khan lands a heap full of shots at bradley's body, he could very well win the fight early? Or do you feel bradley won't allow khan to get that close in range to inflict that sort of damage?
With khan's speed, this will be difficult to avoid surely.

Has bradley been down in his career after receiving a body shot?

Bradley is smarter than Maidana. He will take his time. I didnt say he was gone. I just said he was almost KOed a few times.

To my knowledge, Bradley has only been down when Holt jacked him early. Khan isn't a big banger, but he is a wicked quick puncher and quick punchers can go the distance with scrubs or ko excellent fighters randomly.

Bradley has the 1% body fat thing going on so who knows how that will effect his ability to take a body shot. But I don't think it will really be Bradley keeping Khan from getting close. Khan is fast-footed as well and if he gets close he'll get his shots off. It's just that Bradley has shown that he doesn't get discouraged and he makes sure he lands his own shots. He's sort of like Juan Diaz that way, I guess. And I can see Khan not liking getting hit.

Despite Bradley's lack of pop, I would insist on having him drug tested based on his ridiculous physique.

    Cool :kidcool:

Bradley does seem smarter than maidana.
We won't witness the type of fight khan and maidana had for sure. Khan vs bradley is going to be a better match up and a better fight than khan/maidana, bradley/alexander were imho.

I like khan's speed in this one, but not just this, khan will be better equipped to deal with the fight getting rough and tough late on if it does go the distance, having seen the maidana fight, plus khan has shown heart and mental positivity too.
To me this fight could see bradley get frustrated. Maidana was getting frustrated too in the khan fight.
If khan can use the jab, use it to good effect, work off it, land a flurry of punches, but land the punches with more certainty without getting tagged, use the ring well, the possible frustration in bradley that may occur could see khan win quite easy.

In some interviews i have seen recently on tv with khan, he seems to come across quite big headed, so to me i would prefer to see him more concentrated and have his head properly screwed on.

Khan is way faster than Bradley and way more talented. Bradley couldn't break and egg with a baseball bat, so he wouldn't knock Amir out. If anybody was Ko'd it would be Bradley.

Hard to believe after all of the fighters Bradley's beaten, many of whom were predicted to beat "him," that people seemingly on a large scale continue to focus on his faults, deny him credit, and overlook all that he's accomplished. What the fuck?

Speaking of Holt, he was on the undercard of bradley/alexander, won by ko 1st round vs arroyo.

Based on what? Bradley took one of the hardest punches i have seen and got up and continued fighting. Khan has been knocked out and on queer street a few times

At times early in the alexander fight, bradley lunges in, exposing his body. If khan can set his feet and land hard 1-2 combos, bradley's gonna get hurt, plus if bradley decides to throw flurries like he did vs alexander and do so untidily at times as he did, khan can tighten up, then once bradley has backed off, khan can unload, using his speed and should attempt to bully bradley as much as possible.

I didnt' give Khan much chance against Bradley or Alexander before but now I think it's pretty even.

I still favor Bradley because He has done more to prove his worth. He is just a better all around fighter.

Khan is more gifted as far as size, power, speed. But the guy is not very smart in the ring.

In the Maidana fight he didnt' even know how to clinch. He would clinch with one arm and let Maidana get off with the other arm. How does he not know how to clinch at this stage?

Also that bullshit of laying on the ropes? he is not Pacquiao for god's sake.

Bradley probably woulnd't hurt him becasue he don't puch hard enough. But he will win more rounds than Khan by outworking him.

by the way the reason I think Bradley looked sloppy against Alexander is because he had to force the fight.

Alexander to me was barely in the fight. He didnt' want to risk anything and eventually quit. So Bradley had to open up more to make it a fight.

Hopefully Maidana/Alexander can be done and Maidana can KO that overrated clown.

    Really??

He doesn't fight inside better than Bradley. He can't take a punch better than Bradley. He's not as versatile as Bradley. Nor is he smarter than Bradley.

The only real advantages Khan has over Bradley are his size(Height, reach, weight), hand speed, and jab.

Everything else Bradley does better. I didn't mention power because Khan is not a big puncher against top opposition.

My God is Khan overrated on this forum, or what.
