Khan will fight in England, in April, to defend his title, but who do you think will be in the opposite corner? Brook's name has been mentioned and I can see this as a good British match-up, so i'll vote for this to be happening in April.
Hopefully Bradley, but REED Would Settle for Prescott, Even Though Prescott Really HASN'T Done All that Much (Aside from WAX Khan) to Keep Himself Relevant... REED:cheer:
Katsidis has LOST Every Notable Fight he's Had AND he Lost his Most Recent Fight...REED Isn't Sure Why Katsidis would even B Considered @ this Point... REED:dancingBaby:
Khoward needs a break after the Maidana fight. Put him in with a guy who can't punch in a division below coming off a KO.
Now that REED has Read the Content of the Opening Post, this Feels More like a "Mandatory" Defense for Khan...More of a SHOWCASE Fight for his British Fans...As Such, there's NOfuckingWAY Tim Bradley will B the Opponent...Bradley vs. Khan will B a Fairly Sizable AMERICAN Fight, Held in Vegas, NY, NJ or LA... REED Still DOESN'T Like Katsidis as an Opponent...Sure, Katsidis would Makes Things Interesting Early, as he Always Does...But he'd Inevitably FIND a Way to LOSE, as he Always Does... Prescott would B Perfect...He DESTROYED Khan on British Soil & the SEVERITY of that Beatdown is the Type that Khan Should Absolutely WANT To Avenge...Though his Chin is STILL Suspect, Khan's a BETTER Fighter than the Guy that Got KO'ed by Prescott...Khan Should JUMP @ the Chance to Set the Record Straight... Khan vs. Prescott...(Can a Mod Please Change REED's Vote from Bradley to Prescott)???..... REED:dancingBaby:
If Khan Fights SMART, Prescott Could B a Relatively EASY Fight for him...Really, ALL Prescott can Do IS Punch...Prescott Would B a "BreaK" for Khan, if he Played his Cards Right...Start Cautiously, Breaking Prescott Down Bit by Bit, Looking to Open Up More as the Fight Progresses... Conceivably, Khan Could SCHOOL Prescott or even STOP him Late... REED:kidcool:
If a khan/prescott re-match is made, i am very confident khan takes him apart, most probably winning by UD. Prescott is, to put it lightly, terrible.
It's the whole, ''Khan to face Prescott in grudge re-match to gain revenge for devastating KO'' that whets the appetite.
Prescott can punch, he showed that in the khan 1st fight and his record as REEDsART stated should convince you of this. He is a dangerous opponent if a guy is not prepared properly to face him. To me, the way Prescott throws that right, it's too wild imo, not much accuracy at many times, altho he does have a decent jab if he gets it going.
Khan-Brook is the most appealing fight, but Khan-Prescott is the one that makes most sense in Khan's risk/reward analysis.
There's no way I see Khan-Brook happening, not now and perhaps not ever. The weight difference, the Khan-Warren factor, what awaits both in the near future.... way too many intangibles to suggest that Brook is even in the running. My guess is Peterson. He will cost more than the most appealing local option that HBO will accept, but compared to whose left will be perceived as the "safest" fight that would garner the most respect.
Who the fuck cares? If he doesn't rematch Madaina, it'll be as clear an indication as we need to know that he lost. I'd like to see him take on Judah, having said that.
I'm no Khan fan, but the guy just can't win. The guy fights Maidana after everyone said he didn't have the balls - he fights him, beats him, and you still have meatballs like Double L coming around saying stupid shit like that.
For FuXAke. Khan beat Maidana, the majority of people who watched the fight thought so too, despite some trouble along the way and a small majority thinking maidana won. Until khan loses another fight, then people can say shit. Peace out.
Khan did beat him clearly, but i'm saying a few people thought maidana won a close decision- these people are wrong.
