Which mma fighter lost his last 4 fights in a total of 3:51 minutes and is currently employed by the UFC ?
That's funny. What's the whole situation? I hear UFC owes him fights because he had some contract with pride at the time or something. Can't they just buy the contract out ?
Why would they give him buy out money? why not give him fights against up and comers? giving him free money doesn't make a whole lot of business sense.
Yeah. They could buy him out, but it makes more sense in just putting him against cans and hope he gets a HL KO. That said, I'm surprised he wasn't cut. However, I'd wager that because the contract was ZUFFA owned, but Pride made, that the clauses that the UFC exercises over its fighters doesn't apply. Just a guess though.
He is taking up valuable card space. I mean the guy is 5-7 and lost 4 fights in row (in 3.5 minutes total) There must be more to it maybe there is a clause that says it can't be bought out and has to be fulfilled or something.
He can be bought out, it just doesn't make much sense to do so. It's not like their a huge surplus of HWs anyway. Chris fucking Tushcherer is still signed to the UFC.
As bad as Hunt has looked. He's still a name. And when bringing up young fighters, he's a decent fighter to showcase skills. Dana is smart to use him up. He isn't taking up space on any card, lets face it, he will never be on the main card and like TLC, it isn't like their is a huge surplus of HW newcomers right now. The ones that are there can fight Hunt.
