I'm sure something was lost in translation. He was standing up waiting for the bell to ring when it was called off.
How the fuck is nearly being kimura'd domination? Or being rocked and nearly KO'd. Getting your nose broken by the first punch then taken down and G&Pd. Nog and Cro Cop he beat HANDILY but far from domination. Especially in the context which REED brought it up, in comparison to RJJ. RJJ DOMINATED people. Anderson Silva DOMINATED Forrest, Rich. Fedor has DOMINATED some people(Tim Sylvia utterly crushed, most of the cans, Coleman, but his career is far from the dominance that routinely was an RJJ fight.
:giggle: i remember that. How come a 2x NCAA champ with over 100 matches has cauliflower. I almost fell off my chair

The correspondent of newspaper "Sport Express" met after the battle at the hotel with the nurse, which helped Fyodor first aid. "The doctor asked the soldier:" Fyodor, you can go? "- He said. But Fyodor shook his head and replied: "No, I can not."
You don't argue about facts? What the fuck are you saying? :giggle: The damn thing was posted in a National Russian newspaper.
How the fuck is nearly being kimura'd domination? Fedor laughed at Hunts submission attempt then submitted Hunt with a Kimura the proper way. Or being rocked and nearly KO'd. Getting your nose broken by the first punch then taken down and G&Pd. Rocked for 10 seconds, not even knocked down, recovered, then proceed to knock him silly and sink in a RNC for the finish. Nog and Cro Cop he beat HANDILY but far from domination. Dominated Especially in the context which REED brought it up, in comparison to RJJ. RJJ DOMINATED people. LOL coming from the guy that called RJJ overrated just a couple months ago. Anderson Silva DOMINATED Forrest, Rich. How about Maia? Takase? Chonan? Leites? Cote? Sonnen? Fedor has DOMINATED some people(Tim Sylvia utterly crushed, most of the cans, Coleman, but his career is far from the dominance that routinely was an RJJ fight. :atu:
Its media dipshit. Shit is misquoted all the time. There are already reports that he asked Fedor if he can see.
:atu: The newspaper is wrong, bloodyelbow is wrong, all these reputable news sources are wrong. The doctor, who said this, was lying. Yep, blind hero worship at its finest.
Obviously, REED's Fedor/RJ Analogy Isn't 100%... Waaaaaaaaaaay MORE to B Concerned with in MMA, than just your Opponents HANDS, which Quite Naturally Lead to Fedor Being in MORE Compromising Positions than Roy...Fedor was Also MUCH More of a GAMBLER than Roy ever was...Fedor @ Least TRIED to Finish EVERYBODY, from what REED has Seen, whereas Roy CARRIED a Few Guys (McCallum & Reggie Johnson, Among them).... But Similar to Roy, Fedor Went YEARS w/a SINGLE "Loss" on his Record, EVERYBODY KNEW it was Bullshit & Dude Couldn't have RECTIFIED the Situation in More IMPRESSIVE Fashion...You Said YOURSELF that Fedor had the Best "INSTINCTS" of ANY MMAist you Ever Saw...Many would Say LIKEWISE about Roy Jones... Then Factor In the DRAMATIC Fall from Grace that Both Experienced AND the 1-Sided LOSSES they had, Immediately After GENUINELY Being Beaten for the 1st Time...If you're Gonna LOSE During your Career, it's EASIER to Digest that Shit EARLIER, vs. Being Virtually UNTOUCHABLE for a Decade or More, THEN Being Hit in the Mouth w/it... Having Experience Roy's Humbling, it WASN'T Surprising @ All to REED, that Fedor Lost his 1st Fight Back from the Loss... REED:mj:
Serious waste of time brah. The clown obviously hates Fedor and will just continuously attempt to bash him every chance he gets. No reasoning with him.
I understand the comparison, dude. I really do. I get what you are geting at. But the fact is, prime RJJ won every round of every fight, never even came close to losing. Made his opponents look foolish. Fedor never had that type of dominance, hell the Arona fight alone, a fight which he won via robbery dispels that notion. Pre-Sonnen, UFC Silva is the closest thing to RJJ in terms of fights not even being competetive(and fighters being carried at that, plus the taunting), and the Sonnen fight can be akin to Roy-Tarver 1, especially considering Silva's had the exact age Roy fell off at. Except Silva would later kick Belfort in the face instead of becoming completely shot.
Just shows how much of a fool you are stating that Silva was more dominant that Fedor. Silva was stopped by Takase, Chonan, and Azaredo. Struggled with Murray, Lutter, Maia, amony others. Roy was unbeaten for years before he became shot moron. Anderson was stopped many times in his career. LOL you also commend his Belfort win when everyone knows Belfort was a shit opponent.
Wow...you really are either completely stupid or just don't watch fights. He wasn't stopped in his first fight firstly, secondly that guy was a known and established fighter fighting a debutante. Second, he destroyed Lee Murray. Lutter he hardly "struggled with", he didn't dominate him but he wasn't in any serious trouble. He just got mounted then escaped and won. Maia he also beat easily. Won, 4-1 and only because in the 5th he stopped fighting. Belfort was as legit an opponent as AA was to Fedor.
even if he's overrated, what does that make him? the greatest heavyweight ever? i think silva's surpassed him as the greatest fighter ever, but only by an inch or two. fedor is also one of the most exciting fighters one's ever seen.
So what he "destroyed" Murray by leg kicking him all night while running away from exchanges? Even pulling guard a couple times along the way? Lutter mounted Silva and was treating his head as a speed bag. You vision is clouded if you dont think he was in any trouble. Against Maia he was afraid to go to the ground and in the last round Maia was taking the fight to Anderson. Anderson did not want to engage. Perhaps beause he was gassed. Belfort was not as legit as an opponent at the time. AA was coming off of a 3 fight winning streat straight from the UFC and just destroyed Rothwell and Nelson. Both of who were just up against the UFC's CHampion and top contender. AA dispatched of these 2 more efficiently than both of them. Belfort came off injury, a long layoff and a hasnt done anything in 10 years besides beat a fighter who has proven to be well faded. Man your bias is sickening.
it's a debatable subject. silva's actually a year older than fedor and actually when into a superior organization to DOMINATE, setting a unprecedented, UNBEATEN CHAMPIONSHIP record fighting best fighters available. while Fedor's resume better than any other heavyweights (past or present), in reality, he fought a lot of cans in japan and hasn't done anything signficant in the last 6 years. the last great win fedor had was crocop fight.
<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/VqYrn_xvA-w" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Wow, this was a colossal struggle. Fucking retard.
I love it when Anderson Silva is listed as 5'11". I mean, how can that get fucked up so badly? I believe he was listed that same height against Leben.
And Fedor didn't quit. Fucking retard. http://mmajunkie.com/news/22477/fed...e-bout-to-continue-hints-at-future-fights.mma
