neither guy is overrated. No one here tries to pretend they're better than they were. They were both decent though, especially Eubank.

 

Which makes your aptitude at it all the more impressive...

I wouldn't call McClellan overrated at all. In fact, I think too many people keep in mind the version that fought Benn.

I'd say Eubank is rated about right. Was a very good fighter in his day, but a bit short of great. His name almost never comes up when the discussion is future HOFers and he's been out of the game long enough to be eligible.

McClellan gets an insane amount of credit here for a career that consisted of knocking out really shitty fighters and an over-the-hill Julian Jackson (who wasn't all that to begin with)
