I haven't seen a single person claim this is a good fight so I doubt anyone will crow about a ko over an old fighter.

I guess I've been the closest to it.

I think it'll be more competitive than people think, perhaps much more.

I also think the fight will be competitive. I also think Mosley can hurt and drop Manny Pac.

What a sad state of affairs, honestly. How many rivals can these two share?

Adding Mosley to the list, that's, what, four fighters? De La Hoya, Marquez, Hatton? I despise MMA, but I can't honestly blame the younger gen's contempt for the bullshit which pervades Boxing. Top of such a list right now is the biggest non-event of our time...Pacquiao-Mayweather.

Ugh, the utter, unending frustration. They are going to sell us anything but...

You don't think there's common opponents and recycled fighters in MMA?

(If you are going to answer, please do so in the MMA forum.)

I don't know, I don't watch MMA. I know all the kids are, & none are taking up any interest in Boxing. At least, around these parts.

I don't know of an MMA fight as big as Pacquiao-Mayweather which has had such demand, yet gone unfinalised, for so long. If there is one, I will concede it, but I haven't heard of any such clash.

Damn it Ramonza, I told you to respond in the MMA forum.

I don't think there's an MMA fight as big as Pacquiao-Mayweather, period.

But as far as I know there's been fights involving fighters belonging to different promotions that were never made.

I mean as big as Pacquiao-Mayweather within its respective sport.

Obviously, it goes without saying no MMA fight is literally as big as Pacquiao-Mayweather.

I can't go into the MMA forum --- that sport & anything involving it is beneath me. I'm a Boxing snob

So am I, which is why I don't care to see the letters M-M-A in this forum...at least not until there's a Miguel Manuel Alvarez fighting.

I think it depends on Pac. If he performs like he did in the re against Barrera, then Mosley will go the distance.

But if Pacquiao wants to stop him, he will. I have no doubt about that.

All part of the master plan to bore the fans to tears and make them hate both fighters?

Mosley's right hand is always dangerous in the first 3 rounds. After that Pac can hit him like a punching bag. Maybe stop him late on swelling.

I still don't get how people can see this is going to be a decent fight or that Mosley somehow has a chance. I think they're thinking too much of the past Mosley and not factoring in the old guy who was too winded to even protect himself against Floyd and too shot to even throw decent punches against Mora.

I actually like Shane...especially now that he's no longer overrated.

But it'll be better for boxing if Manny wins, obviously. Still I'd be happy to see Shane win as well....for the enhancement of Floyd's legacy! :giggle:

It'll make Mayweather look like a bitch for sitting around, going on vacation, beating up women, while the rest of the guys around WW are actually fighting.

Wow, one very good win against Mosley. What else has he done in the last 37 months?

Losing to Mayweathers sparring partner isn't gonna look good besides Mosley was handpicked by Bob for a reason. Im gonna enjoy Shitty Shane getting beaten for the ped 4 ped title.
