Good list. I'd add Too Sharp and Arguello. Mayweather Jr also has a pretty good jab, when he elects to use it.
Mayweather has one of the best jabs to the body. Just like a jab to the head, it maintains distance, disrupts rhythm, and sets up other shots.
That was a piss poor version of DLH that Sturm was beating up on. Nevertheless, in spite of all the shit Sturm gets, he does have one hell of a jab. DLH was eating jabs like they were the tamales he appeared to have dined on throughout his training. The decision was a clear robbery.
Yeah, Mayweather's jab to the body is one of the best punches in the whole sport. Never really seen anything like it.

No question, Floyd has always had an excellent jab to the body. Rangey, fast, hard and accurate. One of his best punches. It seems like a risky punch, you have to commit more, lean right in, it's actually kind of telegraphed, and you seem vulnerable to a counter, possibly an uppercut. However, like someone else said, Floyd's seems more like a normal jab.
Suppose it's an adaptation to the philly shell, with the hand already down there cocked for the shot & the body angling tending to make a head jab more difficult without opening up the shell. Floyd isn't always in the shell, obviously, but the mount of time he spends there probably led him to favour the body jab (and lead hook) at times. That said, Floyd usually feints the head jab before throwing the body jab. Beautiful move. I hate to say it, but Floyd may be the most technically complete fighter I've ever seen.:Steve-Dave/MMA:
I'll add Hector Camacho and Virgil Hill. Camacho probably had the quickest double and triple jabs that I've ever seen. And Hill probably won 90% of his fights solely with the jab..
haven't watched much boxing have you? With that said...Oscar had a damn good jab during his prime years (I hated Oscar but have to give him his credit).
The thing about guys like DLH and Wright was that they got more out of the jab because they were fighting in the wrong stances. As a result, both wound up being one-handed fighters for most of their careers.
The difference being Oscar could knock you out with that one hand. Hagler was a converted southpaw...he had no issues with power from either side.
I remember how Razor Ruddock for awhile would never throw jabs, he'd just try to bomb everyone out with one shot. Then he does throw a jab, to the body against Lewis, and it got him in serious trouble. Mayweather must have a great sense of timing/distance to have such an effective jab to the body and not get hit when he throws it.
