Spin-off of the prime for prime thread. How would the '91 Foreman do against the Tyson that fought Golota?
Foreman by KO. Mike by that point was only dangerous for 3-4 rounds tops. After that he'd be gassed and it'd be all George.
Mike's balance was also so shitty by that point, and his foot work so slow that George would be pushing him around pretty easily.
Ruiz is a fuckin bum, and both 91 Foreman and 00 Tyson would have stretched his sorry ass. Ruiz would never be able to handle a puncher the calibre of Tyson or Big George.
Blind hate is severely hindering your logical functions. Neither fighter is a prime Tua..who arguably has more one punch power than either PRIME fighter. And that was when Ruiz was 20-30lbs from his prime weight. You act as if Ruiz couldn't take a shot...he took a good one. Seriously, 90s Foreman went to controversial decision with utter bums like Axel Schultz or whatever his name was, but he stops Ruiz?
Um....if anyone quarter decent can get out of round 3 with 2000 Mike they have a better than 50% chance of winning. I'd lean towards old George here, marginally.
Personally, I think there would be a pretty damn decent chance for Foreman if this fight occurred in 1991 for both parties. I'm not sure I would favour him, but I'm not really sure I'd favour Tyson then, either. 91 Foreman vs. 00 Tyson? Foreman clobbers him into submission through seven rounds.
