Man, UFC 127 caused some disruption in the standing. Godfather took a huge jump with this week's best performance... The dude picked Ebersole.

 

How come I didn't get any points ??? My predictions are on the second page of the UFC 127 thread

I'm glad you asked the question because I needed a reminder myself. I forgot that a draw earned everyone (that made a pick) 2 points. So I have to adjust the points for this week because I only gave people 1 point for the draw. It doesn't affect the overall standings but I will still make the adjustments.

Here it is again:

The contest will be very simple. The person with the most points at the end of the quarter (March 31) will be the winner and crowned 'Fightbeat MMA Expert'. Points are awarded as follows:

5 points for picking the winner, correct round, and method of winning (submissions don't have to be exact)
4 points for picking the winner and correctly picking either the round OR method of victory
3 points for picking the winner but not correct round or method of victory
2 points for a fight ending in a draw
1 point for an incorrect pick

Well, in fairness to all but especially myself, Ebersole and Siver were huge upset winners.

 

Yes, we never changed the one point for an incorrect pick. Again, the logic is simple. You get points for participating.

 

Damn, GF, if we didn't get a point for participating I would have had like 2.

Hell, I am as avid an MMA fan as there is on this site and my performance is wicked bad. Of all the people who have picked EVERY event, my score is the worst.

I know Reed is a casual fan and some of the smaller name guys might be shots in the dark.

Personally, I am looking ahead to the 2nd Quarter contest where I will topple the champion.
